For the record, he inherited OBAMA's economy who recovered it from the disaster that was George II's reign of error. Donald Trump can seriously go f*** himself.

And then turned that into tax cuts for the rich, complete with an attempt to take away everyone's healthcare.

Then he tanked the economy under COVID. Thankfully, we had a Democrat there to rebuild things - and preside over the first economy in 40 years where the bottom 20% gained on the top 1%.

And now Trump's back, and the only thing he's talking that has any chance of passing is...tax cuts for the rich.

See the pattern? Don't be fooled. r/VoteDEM every time - including the elections happening in twelve days, and basically every Tuesday!

And then turned that into tax cuts for the rich

Racking up the largest one-term increase in the national debt in the process. One quarter of the entire national debt carried by the United States is due to deficit-spending under Trump.

u/ThePotScientist 15h ago

Maybe he'll pay it off with all the terriffs, worked well for Smoot! lol

21

u/BoneHugsHominy 1d ago

He tanked the economy BEFORE Covid! The Fed was pumping billions of dollars into the stock market every single day for months before Covid struck and bailed him out with excuses. They were desperate to keep the house of cards from collapsing and it was the ultimately the money paid to actual citizens that prevented a total collapse. Then they blamed us for inflation.

They've learned absolutely nothing because their game is to extract as much wealth and power from this dying nation before the undeniable climate crisis hits and tens of millions of American climate refugees start fleeing the Southeast and Southwest for the Great Lakes.

The Trumps will continue until progressiveness improves.

8

u/plain_obvious 1d ago

As a progressive, I approve this message.

1

u/izabitz 1d ago

Same

1

u/TeaTimeSubcommittee 1d ago

It’s not about progressing, have you talked to them? Most of the times their interests align with left or centre politics, they’re voting for the persona, under the guise that he will save them from some enemy.

They voted against inflation and for the guy who promised tariffs on all imported goods!

34

u/James-W-Tate 1d ago

Hey, that's not fair.

He was going to crash the economy regardless of COVID with some of the changes he had already made. The pandemic just accelerated the fall.

11

u/Zerocoolx1 1d ago

But don’t worry because the US was smart enough to vote him in again. He can finish what he started last time.

11

u/cantadmittoposting 1d ago

And then turned that into tax cuts for the rich, complete with an attempt to take away everyone's healthcare.

hey that's part of how bush fucked up the economy he inherited from Clinton!

7

u/bv1800 1d ago

And we were at the start of a recession when Covid hit. Covid literally rescued his failed presidency to the point that he got to claim that he oversaw a great economy. I can’t imagine how deep an economic depression we would be in, if Biden didn’t win in 2020

7

u/cbrown146 1d ago

Nah, something does not b feel right. Dems seem to be playing advanced ball with the republicans. How on earth do you let a convicted felon run for president? Dems need a new party. Fuck Dems for letting Trump win and blocking AOC with another fucking old guy nobody cared about. Nancy Pelosi and her husband can have an early demise and I would be so happy.

-6

u/SuspendeesNutz 1d ago

I dunno man, that nice guy from the Green Party said both sides were the same. Kamala didn't thrill me man. The Democrats need to earn my vote man. The lesser of two evils is still evil man.

He seemed really sincere.

10

u/Pope_GonZo 1d ago

You're not a real person are you comrade. Get back out there to the front line and start dodging drones cyka

2

u/izabitz 1d ago

Just because some of us have a hard time reading even obvious sarcasm ima add the /s for you.

0

u/Inspector_Tragic 1d ago

He seemed really sincere??????? Jc!

3

u/AbrahamDylan 1d ago

I’m doubting if YOU’RE a real person if you couldn’t sense his sarcasm. Whoooooosh.

-2

u/CrumblingDragonballs 1d ago

That nice guy from the green party basically was right. The fucking Democrats tanked three fucking elections in a goddamn row. It's a literal Mk oracle the people of the United States managed to vote Biden in the second time trump ran. It's a literal miracle. Ffs.

28

u/big_guyforyou 1d ago

not sure if "go fuck himself" or "go fist himself"

20

u/Certain_Degree687 1d ago

One of the two but with the latter, I'm pretty sure his head is so far up his own ass, it's not physically possible to do that.

10

u/pwuk 1d ago

Not with those tiny mittens

4

u/JuggernautPrevious44 1d ago

Have you seen how tiny his hands are? Doubt even double fisting could do much at this point.

3

u/SonicNTales 1d ago

With his tiny hands? That seems too easy.

1

u/debuschauffeur 1d ago

¿Por que no los dos?

30

u/Whateveryouwantitobe 1d ago

He's about to inherit Bidens economy that is recovering from the first Trump reign of terror, which he royally fucked up from Obama's recovering economy.

15

u/Creamofwheatski 1d ago

Hes going to take credit for all the jobs the infrastructure bill Biden got passed is creating and the dumbasses will believe it.

12

u/Whateveryouwantitobe 1d ago

I've talked to a few friends about it and came to the idea that he'd be better off letting things go and just play golf for 4 years. Things are slowly going in the right direction, he could take credit for it even though he had nothing to do with it. But he seems hell bent on fucking up as much as possible.

7

u/cantadmittoposting 1d ago

They don't want things to go in the right direction.

They want things to go in the Right direction.

1

u/AbrahamDylan 1d ago

This is brilliant. Nice work.

7

u/bashdotexe 1d ago

That’s not his MO, he could have taken his inheritance and conservatively invested it and made a fortune but instead he bankrupted everything he touched.

1

u/NNKarma 1d ago

Of course he won't just do nothing, he realized how ready is the legal system to go after him when he's not the president, he gotta fix that.

5

u/NotoriousFTG 1d ago

Yes. It’s amazing that this guy got elected twice and inherited quite strong economies both times, yet whines incessantly about how tough a job he has.

1

u/Longjumping_Sir9051 19h ago

I thought we were smarter than this.

23

u/Creamofwheatski 1d ago

He took credit for Obamas economy on day 1 then crashed it within two years and somehow people blamed Biden for the destruction who actually DID come in and fix everything Trump broke. And we just reelected him to crash the economy AGAIN. Americans are truly way fucking stupider than they should be.

13

u/katreadsitall 1d ago

Have a friend who said in all seriousness “oh I’m super happy that at least there won’t be the capital gains tax she was going to make us have to pay because I have capital gains”…like, we aren’t wealthy! The most this friend would have in capital gains is MAYBE a few thousand. I was like “you sure it’s not for a certain amount like 400k?” “NO IT WOULD BE EVERYONE!”

3

u/ZestycloseSquirrel55 18h ago

"And we just reelected him"

I assure you I had nothing to do with it!

Also trump will definitely take credit for all the positive afterburners of Biden‘s Presidency

3

u/Creamofwheatski 1d ago

Most of the jobs from the infrastructure bill havent even been generated yet cause building new factories takes time. Watching people give Trump credit for all of the Biden administrations work the last few years to rebuild American manufacturing because they are too stupid to understand cause and effect will be very frustrating.

11

u/SputnikDX 1d ago

Republicans: You can't blame a president for things like recessions and pandemics. That is out of their control.

Also Republicans: TRUMP WILL FIX BIDENS ECONOMY AND LOWER YOUR GAS PRICES

2

u/Sweetyams10 1d ago

Yup then threw big tax cuts, lowering interest rates and then covid. Of course, inflation with all those factors would be insane. He trashed it only for Biden to start a recovery and now people get to see round 2(more cronies and lack of checks and balances) without the Obama economy. If his supporters love destruction over prosperity, they will be happy

Bush's total for his two terms in office is 533 days. Your numbers seen very suspect.

2

u/MrXenomorph88 1d ago

I love the irony that people say Trump is inheriting a broken economy from Biden, yet Trump is the one who made the economy so strong back in 2016. Like excuse me, who do you think fixed the Great Recession before Trump you dumbasses?

1

u/Murdy2020 1d ago

Even Mnuchin said so

1

u/inbleachmind 1d ago

Whoah, hold on right there! Isthis a coincidence or do I read a NOFX reference in that comment?

reddit moment of the year for 2024

-3

u/OnRedditAtWorkRN 1d ago

Fuck trump. Like for real. Fuck trump.

But this is so fucking naive. I'm so sick of this narrative. The economy in most cases is a lagging indicator. The idea that anyone in the president office has an immediate or even a quick impact on an economy is ridiculous. Not to mention the economy was already in a downturn when bush took over, and the economy was doing great until COVID.

Like how the fuck do you ever expect to be taken seriously outside of your echo chambers when you ignore all context and suggest that trump broke the economy and not the global pandemic.

Gimme my down votes now please
