So, if insulting republicans is ban worthy....

Whats with the lack of bans over people insulting John Kasich?

There's literally people in that thread calling him a pussy and actively encouraging him to leave the Republican Party, and it doesn't seem to be an issue for the mods.

I see much less getting removed from threads when people disagree with some stances the Republican Party takes, but calling John Kasich a pussy is fine?

Edit: Got banned because this post shows a lack of constructive criticism and is just trolling apparently

The mods in /r/Republican were sent by /r/conservative and other far right subs to silence the free speech of moderate republicans and ensure they have no place to convene and spread their narrative. Simple as that.

Edit: oh look at what a big brave man Mikey is taking shit to someone that they banned from responding. Hiding behind the banhammer like the epitome of bitchitude. What a fucking coward, can't even stand to possibly hear a comeback.

Edit2: lol now he's arguing with somebody that can't respond because he banned them and calls them a coward. With how clear it is that damn near everyone im his subs despise him and knows how idiotic everything he says is, its pretty sad to know all this bluster is just to convince himself he's not a moronic pansy boy. Your sub dies a little more every day and you get downvoted in meta while posts denouncing your restriction of free speech get upvoted until you ban them. Yeah comments aren't brave. Well here's a question: why did you (or whoever) ban u/zakary3888 for pointing out a double standard? The optics of that aren't super great for the mod team.

//edit: @ u/Yosoff regardless of whether or not i was banned in r/Republican, i asked this question in good faith, it is unlikely that I am the only one wondering, and as it pertains to the ethical standards of yourself and the other mods of r/Republican, it is a valid question and ought to be answered. I ask again: why did you ban someone for pointing out that you are enforcing a double standard?

Okay, we don't care if the optics "aren't super great" for a mod team that are clearly, consistently being trolled by assholes who actually waste their lives making alt accounts just to complain and bitch instead of moving on with their lives. Why would we care about our optics to a bunch of people who waste their lives and our time pulling this shit when they'll just hate us anyway? That's rhetorical, I don't care what you think.

So you got banned from a subreddit, who gives a shit? I got banned from a sub once, after 5 minutes I didn't care, because I'm an adult with better things to worry about.

Tack this whole response under rhetorical, because I don't care what you have to say. Most people don't care what you have to say, they don't care what I have to say, this is the internet. Only you care what you have to say until someone explicitly asks your opinion, and even then, they probably don't care. This is why taking so much time to troll mods who banned you is so utterly stupid that it makes me sad for people who do it.

The point is that mods who enforce the rules at r/republican (including you) are enforcing a double standard and then banning people for pointing that out.

Those are not the actions of a mod team that acts in good faith. They certainly aren't the actions of moderators who respect the rules they themselves wrote. In fact one might go so far as to say that these actions display a lack of ethics.

If you aren't a brainwashed neo-nazi capable only of agreeing with the links the mod posts you have no right to speak in right-leaning subs. Simply as that. If they hate John Kasich nobody gets banned for it. If they don't hate him you get banned for criticizing him.

/r/the_donald is the most extreme example of this. That sub artificially inflates their vote counts to look like they have users. Because of course they do, if they didn't they'd look like /r/conservative and /r/republican which have literally zero and users vote counts at zeroes because the mods banned everybody. And no comments because the mods delete the comments.

I'm pretty sure every right moderate with a drop of doubt gave up on talking politics in reddit altogether. Go to /r/politics, post your opinion and get downvoted, or go to right-leaning subs, show doubt about extremism and get banned. You guys are fucking ridiculous. I don't see the far-left banning the left in reddit.

  • Some or many people will go through your post history and find something to determine you're not a republican and question why post it here
  • The term "RINO" will be used one or more times
  • One or many people will be banned from r/MetaRepublican for posting something in this thread
  • Many r/republican banned people will chime in about the mods ( and the point above will happen)
  • I'm probably going to be called out for not contributing to the conversation and why would I spend my time visiting this forum when I'm banned from r/Republican and I may be banned from here too (see 4th point)
