Grandfathers maps from WW2 Old Map
I’m trying to get rid of my grandfathers maps from when he was stationed in Northern Africa. There seem to be about a hundred maps neatly folded of Algeria and Tunisia. He spent most of his time in Morocco so there may be some of those in there. They are in great condition. We hate the idea of just throwing them away. Is there some place we can donate or sell (not looking to make much)? Feel free to send me to another sub if this is not the right one. Thanks.

Local libraries, university libraries, or history museums might be interested. I found a couple old US Army newspapers in my grandfather's shop and if my cousin (who's in the army) doesn't want them I'm gonna see if our local military history museum might want them.
If nothing else you could definitely farm some karma by posting high res scans of them maps

My grandpa served in Northern Africa in ww2 as well. I’d be interested in one or two of those. How much are you selling?

I’d be happy to just send them to you. I’m not at my parents hours this week but will get back to you. Do you want a few from each country?

A donation to a reputable organization would be an appropriate way of passing the maps for future use and reference.
