I have to disagree with Xavier at least, I don't know much about others LI since I don't have much of their cards, but Xavier? In secret time "Hot spring", dude tries to get MC to kiss him but only got a peck on the cheek, so what is his reaction? Grab MC from behind and nimble her earlobe 😳 MC became so red she tried to disappear in the hot springs lol

It was released really early with the game, you can still get it in normal pool.

One of Xavier's other famous secretive moments is when he gets jealous and shuts down the entire neighborhood’s power plant after seeing MC talking outside with another man. MC is always freakyyyy. She gave Raf a hickey on his collar bone to "show how humans show affection". And in this recent one, she bit the bond mark, and kissed his ear(??). Even with Xavier she bit his ear. With Sylus she's pulling and pushing him. She almost always takes the initiative and like the other person said, Sylus and Raf are always up for it. The whole of Misty Invasion can be seen as MC seducing each LIs in different ways: Red nightgown, fruity sweet scented lotion, hickey, sensory test.

I love that she actually takes initiative from time to time! I get why blank slate MCs are more common in otome games, just safer canvas for players to project onto. But to be honest, for someone like this MC who is supposed to be a capable hunter at the center of all these intergalactic and interdimensional mysteries, I think it's way more interesting and suitable that she's someone who is actually quite bold and honest with her preferences and ambitions. It's really refreshing to see as a person who has played soooo many dating sims where things can start to blend together sometimes.

As much as the love interest in any game will always be a central part of the appeal, the MC will always be one half of the dynamic that makes the romance. One half of the chemistry. One half of the dialogue. One half of what makes it passionate and interesting. A good romance game really displays how two people bring out different parts of each other in a relationship, not just who they are when they're on their own.

I love that we're making room in the genre for otome and dating sim protagonists who have really defined and individual personalities. It really highlights some of my favorite things about romance writing in general and in the case of LADS, she is soooo entertaining.
