the right wing narrative is so confusing.
They think our educational system sucks and we need tech bros to help. Democrats are creating a bad educational system and economic decline. However, they advocate to defund education / eliminate the DOEd and continue with trickle down economics. Then, started talking about immigrations.
What the fuck is it? Education? Immigration? Economics? Do they even know?

It's really hard to combine building up a dictatorship, modern slavery and colonialism with solutions to their figment of a great replacement conspiracy... but they're trying.

Their plan is simple: make government go to shit, then the people lose faith in it and will want those in power to do more. Then they get more power.

This isn't matt gaetz. His Twitter is just @mattgaetz

u/Cicerothesage 1d ago
I knew it. I even checked. I thought it was weird that Gaetz put "former" in his name. Like, that is too self-aware for a Republican

They don't know, they have no policies other than owning the libs. Yet they own themselves by infighting on every fucking thing.

What decline? These dudes live in a different planet
Our economy is literally the envy of the world because of Biden

Only if you look at the data and evidence. But Joe rogan told me to be mad at biden because he’s old so clearly their administration was a failure. /s

Joe Rogan built a handicap ramp one summer in high school. This gives him not only the experience of working a real job but also makes him an authority on what it actually took to build the pyramids that big archeology doesn’t want you to know about.

u/Obaddies 1d ago
I’m willing to believe he watched other people build the ramp while he was smoking DMT or something.

Rogan is a transphobic racist POS

u/Obaddies 1d ago
Yeah he sucks. I don’t even know how people can listen to his lame show. I’ve tried and it’s mostly garbage filler conversations that isn’t even edited together well. The few episodes I did listen to, they constantly cut away to ads in the middle of someone’s sentence. It’s low effort trash just like the rest of his career.

But at least he informed us about the kids shitting in school-based litterboxes.
He gets credit for that at least.

Only if you look at facts and data. Facts and data are not how the MAGA crowd informs themselves. Ironically, part of the reason their newly elected Party thinks they are all a bunch of dumb dumbs who can’t hold the good jobs in America 😂

Yes, when third grade teachers are assigning seats to 35 kids in a classroom (which are now terribly overcrowded due to funding cuts), the teacher is really taking their time out of their busy schedule of planning, grading papers, shuffling the kids to and from the playground and to and from the lunchroom, to start the process of turning John into Jane behind the parents backs. Teachers are the most picked-on profession, and it needs to stop before the teacher shortage becomes far worse than it is.

I've never heard of this "Matt Gaetz" character before.
He kinda sounds like a pedo.

All I read was: "I definitely care about this issue, and am not just saying this because I am need to recruit potential viewers to my new TV show at a time I have brought a ton of negative publicity on myself."

Matt Gaetz: "I am angry about 3rd grade teachers turning little girls into little boys. I don't like little boys."

Ah, I see Gaetz has found his new grift. Now he'll be a "firebrand speaking truth to the wealthy elite." Just forget all that sex with minors stuff.

Wtf? Their whole campaign was for government mandated gender assignments. It was a major issue for them. They explicitly said that the government's role is to enforce conformity.

If he thinks corporations have NOT had a hand in policy, he’s so sadly mistaken. But he’s taken their dinners/drinks/extras.

Oh c’mon! How dumb do they think we are?!
Musk and Thiel and the other tech bros were openly against Trump for a long time. Both in the primary and in the general election. Then after misc meetings they were suddenly pouring billions into Trump’s campaign.
You gotta be pretty dumb to not realize a deal was struck. And how many of the PayPal team have now been appointed to the administration by Trump?! And please don’t forget Thiel’s proxy, JD Vance.

You mean the influx of tech bros that were brought over because the real power : Billionaires, who have been stocking the workforce with cheaper labour for the last thirty years. Same reason it's rare to get a US tech support rep on the phone.

I love the whole "broken economy" lies. Luckily for the GOP, their base is too stupid to check for themselves.

u/SolSeekerPhoto 1d ago
"Obvious Biden/Harris economic decline.." You ain't seen nothin' yet. Just wait for tariffs and the deportation of cheap labor to see real economic decline. Gonna be fun in the bun!

Turns out that the Republicans are a big tent party too, it just takes a little more friction to get them to fracture.

The best thing is if Musk and Trump become enemies it might be Musk who becomes the victim of a vulgar display of Trump's power. Imagine Musk turns on Trump and unleashed his X botnet to fully shit-talk Trump constantly. What could Trump do? Arrest Elon Musk and charge him with sedition, fraud, and for being an unregistered foreign agent. These charges wouldn't even need to be falsified because Musk has mountains of criminal exposure. ...but Trump could make sure Musk is held in prison until trial, has assets seized, security clearance revoked, etc.

I think one of the bits that really bothers me is how blatantly the techbros don't even understand tech
