They have a humiliation fetish
There’s no other explanation

Even when they are purposefully full of malice?

u/My_Queen_and_I 6h ago
I always heard it as never assume malice... Never attribute malice would mean disregarding when that malice is obvious, wouldn't it?

No, they have what is called a psychological wage that comes from their own sense of racial superiority. You don't have to pay them anything but some good feels and a pat on the head.

Not the Pat on the head they were looking for.

u/Merijeek2 10h ago
Nah. It's just that every time someone dies something clearly stupid with obvious consequences, they're thinking. "I'm special. It won't happen to ME."

i mean
or they're conservatives, who've been doing this for literally hundreds of years lol

u/Brbi2kCRO 13h ago
Desperate cause no one sane wants their “return to tradition” so you only have rich grifters.

u/usernames_are_danger 5h ago
They do hurl “cuck” as an insult pretty much every time they argue with someone about politics…if that’s the first thing you always think of to insult someone, you may be projecting your own fetish.
So if this is true, can you even imagine how many pedos are among them trying to hide their sick minds?!?

For reference purposes, Michael Tracey is also a Russian shill

u/probable_chatbot6969 21h ago
oh. good looking pointing that out. i still like this post though. it's a good way to describe the neocon populism paradox
18
u/NewmanVsGodzilla 16h ago
Tracey is an absolute moron and awful person but damnit if he didn’t nail it here
1
u/OblongAndKneeless 3h ago
So the Russian shill is right with this example. How does Putin feel about this opinion?
1
u/thesayke 1h ago
It incorrectly describes the US as an oligarchy, which (at least under Democratic leadership) it's not. However, Putin is trying to turn the US into a politically captured fascist puppet oligarchy like Belarus under Lukashenka, or Norway under Quisling, under the rule of his proxy Trump.. So Putin loves that opinion
https://www.vox.com/2016/5/9/11502464/gilens-page-oligarchy-study
Although economic elites do have significant influence in certain areas of policy-making, that influence is usually concentrated through the Republican party, which is basically the oligarchy party.. So it's no surprise that they're puppeteered by Putin. Russia constantly tries to paint the US as an oligarchy while turning us into one
So again, Putin loves that opinion

Is Michael going to start pretending to be a lefty again now? I doubt it. There's no money in leftism.

u/BeardedSquidward 17h ago
This is the biggest problem, there's money to be made with progressive policies and politics, the problem is that it's not as much money as RWNJ media. If I had a 90% chance of $5 million or a 10% chance for $50 million, people being what they are will take that 10% chance instead of the near certainty.
2
u/UsernameOfAUser 14h ago
I mean, rationally, they should. The Expected Utility of 50 million lottery is 5 million. That of the 5 million lottery is 4.5 million.
3
u/BeardedSquidward 12h ago
Think I may have said it wrong. You can have the 90% chance to earn $5 million or 10% chance to earn the $50 million. People will pick longer odds for more money over a certain payout.

u/XenoBiSwitch 23h ago
Oh, Mike Tracey is going to try to pivot again? We are not taking you back you sad little shill.

u/Fantastic_Yam_3971 18h ago
I’m just pissing myself with laughter that his voting base is now being told “you’re too stupid and not talented enough for the high paying, skilled jobs. We just plan to use you to staff the low paying, labor jobs the immigrants are holding once we get rid of them.” I mean we all knew the base was hoodwinked but we aren’t even to inauguration and they are all already being told how useless and stupid Trump and his picks think they actually are 😂😂😂😂😂

u/buzzybeebieber 14h ago
To be fair many of these types of voters are not even privy to these conversations. I know because I actually know/am related to them. They couldn’t even log on to Reddit or any other platform if they tried. I’m not even trying to be condescending. Facebook is the extent of their ability to navigate the interwebs, and where they get their “news”. Primarily memes “Trump good”—“anyone who questions that bad”.

I'm going to start posting* this* to see if it catches on with more people saying, hopefully better than me. Conservative ideology starts and ends with the idea of authority: the people who vote for the Republicans generally see Republicans as the people 'Who Should Be' in power. It's the reason that they can ignore Jesus teachings and still view themselves as Christians https://youtube.com/clip/Ugkxpnuu6zumYo3EyRiALZrSaHJOoR_egmYr?si=gx-VVvY_twwfCzuV The people at the top are supposed to be at the top, others at the top who shouldn't be there, got there by cheating. That's the ideology, and you can't shame it because it is simple enough to self correct.

How does Donald propose enforcing border policy and stopping fentanyl... when he will be handing CBzp.the additional job of enforcing tariffs? Trump 2.0 is gonna end up becoming prohibition 2.0.

u/MercutioLivesh87 17h ago
This shit happens every time they win, and they wonder why we question their intelligence. There's no question to be asked, intelligence is completely lacking in the conservative brain

u/ArdenJaguar 21h ago
Well, they'd be rich like the oligarchs is it wasn't for "them" (insert minorities, immigrants, LGBTQ, Jews, Drag Queens, whoever they're demonizing this week).
8
u/Asher_Tye 14h ago
What is it they say? Conservatives don't view themselves as poor, just temporarily embarrassed millionaires?
Makes sense they'd convince themselves their "brothers" with money would have their best interests at heart too. It's stupid but it makes sense

Hitler purged his brownshirt supporters in 1934, including Ernst Roehm, an early supporter of his. It was called The Night of The Long Knives. Thousands were executed so that Hitler could look respectable and get the support of the German Army.
The same will happen here.

the only difference I can think of this time is that these version of plutocrats we have is so stupid to tweet what they think thinking that everyone will just nod their head like in their board rooms.

Back in 1066 there was a bar fight and we're all beholden to the results somehow. Hell of a way to run a civilization.
