Sale schedule/sale frequency?

I am looking to buy my first leatherman and I am wondering how often there are sales, if it is worth it to wait for one and if there are ways to get discounts by signing up for promotions? (am in canada)

I am a teacher but it looks like the program is USA only

What country are you in? In the UK there are no sales on the official site, but a couple of large outdoor equipment chains have decent discounts for every holiday or special occasion. If you’re in the US, do you qualify for a discount through your work? Military, law enforcement, emergency services, teaching, student, and others get a discount.
