Harden def wasn't feeling Podz at the end with that steal attempt lmao
3
u/mattallica08 17h ago
He was conceding shot clock violation and Pods was still reaching and fouling.

All clippers team need to practice finding the open man for hours after this game, just terrible timeouts all over the forth quarter
4
3
5
u/Otherwise_Form1315 17h ago
Podz was using white privilege out there on defense for a lot of that fourth quarter lol.
7
u/Niceguydan8 17h ago
I will say man Dunn looks really suspect with his passing. Like, it's been bad
5
u/Upset_Purchase_5903 Terance Mann 17h ago
Ty Lue gotta ream these boys after the game because that 4th quarter was grossssss. Could have earned themselves some rest with Curry and Draymond out, but instead they did…that. But I’ll still take the win every time.

Ty gotta lock these guys in the gym until they can break a simple trap

u/icewill36 17h ago
Wouldn't have went this way if KPJ was playing.
0
u/Niceguydan8 17h ago
y'all so weird about this. KPJ doesn't close out games. He wouldn't have been playing as of like the 6-8 minute mark in the 4th.
And also, it's entirely possible that it would have. He makes a lot of bad decisions as well
1
u/icewill36 17h ago
He closes when we need an additional ball handler. We definitely needed one in the 4th
1
u/Niceguydan8 17h ago
No he fucking doesn't, lmfao. He sometimes closes when the actual good players are hurt or out for whatever reason.
1
u/icewill36 17h ago
Yes he does. Just stop commenting on my posts mofo

This is a great way to confirm that you have no idea what you are talking about.

u/OverallInternet2343 Ivica Zubac 17h ago
closed out 2 games since the return of the ankle injury. Yet again we saw the bench is complete trash unless he’s doing everything with them
2
u/Niceguydan8 17h ago
Look at who was unavailable in both of those games in the 4th.
Hint: it was players that do close when they are healthy.
1
u/OverallInternet2343 Ivica Zubac 17h ago
everyone was good to go against Dallas
3
u/Niceguydan8 17h ago
DJJ was on a minutes restriction and didn't play in the 4th.
2
u/OverallInternet2343 Ivica Zubac 17h ago
DJJ wasn’t going to help a team that was struggling to score and Porter/Zu were only ones really hitting
1
u/Niceguydan8 17h ago
He would have played had he not been on a minutes restriction though, that's the point.
They usually close with the 5 that closed tonight, which includes DJJ. Amir and Mann(when healthy) will usually close over KPJ as well.
3
u/StarchyStarky 17h ago
KPJ would’ve let Harden rest more, which would’ve definitely helped in the 4th
5
u/OGbigballer FREE ZUBAC 17h ago
We have no business or right to win this holy fuck we can’t even make simple passes
10
u/MannyDanning Danny Manning 17h ago
These fuckers need some serious practice on breaking a full court press

Ty gotta schedule an entire practice session for dealing with the full court press.

Heroic 4th quarter for Zu in what was an absolutely disgusting 4th for the rest of the team.

clippers gotta work on getting the ball across half court during the next practice.
1
u/3moonz Kevin Porter Jr. 17h ago
now you know why kpj is important... you cant run a pro nba game with legit 1 person that can dribble for more then 3 seconds ....
1
u/Miller_Culture Ralph Lawler 17h ago
Yeah I said earlier that his absense was felt this game. Some smart asses replied saying he was bad.

We would not have more wins without harden… even with his low fg and turnovers

u/Upset_Purchase_5903 Terance Mann 17h ago
The DJJ lob was the first time they successfully broke the press this whole quarter lol
3
u/Salty_Watermelon Darius Miles 17h ago
A stop and/or a score after this timeout and we're probably safe. Gotta give credit to Kerr and his players for how they totally threw us off.

My stream is lagging. Reading the comments, anticipating the madness, then seeing and understanding why is an experience. Especially with the missed Norm layup.

Really exposing our lack of confident ball handlers
3
u/_lxviiii Batum Battallion 17h ago
as out of control he seems at times, kpj's ball handling really is much needed
2
u/Niceguydan8 17h ago
I mean that's not new to anyone that watches the games though.

This is the first game I've tuned into in a bit and it's one of the nastiest I have ever seen. Good block by Zu there.

u/Niceguydan8 17h ago
Almost certain Norm got away with an 8 second violation by not crossing halfcourt immediately

Every pass is slightly off target and a potential turnover, lol
2
u/Specialist_Owl_6612 James Harden 17h ago
