My resident lizard sleeps on a pepper leaf every night Discussion
I’ve got a growing tower with a resident lizard, who has mostly gotten used to me putzing around and pruning. After dark, he finds a leaf and settles down! He’s out cold in all of the pics. Between him and a young Mantis, they handle the pest mitigation.

This felon enjoys hanging out in my serrano. It’s like living in a Jurassic Park.

Until it gets huge. Iguanas are a pain in the ass. The little anoles are cute though, won’t get bigger than that.

I wonder why they do this? I have two frogs and two lizards who sleep on my pepper plant leaves every night. 🤷🏻♂️

Oh man. I'm in Thailand and grow peppers. Have a small led setup for my seedlings. I have about 20 lizards keeping watch all night.

It always seemed to enjoy being misted every morning. Was there every day for a couple weeks

As an aside, you can see in pic 2 that my Baklouti plants have an issue where the new leaves started being deformed and stunted halfway through the season. I have three like this in the mix and they are effectively separated (the plants in between are seemingly unaffected) so it’s specific to the strain but I’m not sure what’s causing it.

That's so cute! And great for bugs. Too bad we don't have lizards where my pepper plants live.

Thanks for sharing these. Made my day! I love lizards, despite the fact they don't always love me back (I was bitten by one that must have been part pit bull at age 5, after I insisted on catching it). These pics are the sweetest thing I've seen all week. well, except for my cats, but I'm contractually obligated to say that. ᓚᘏᗢ
