What old cars are you frugal people nursing through life? 🚗 Auto

I remember the older generations would buy a car and drive it for two or three decades. Today it is pretty popular to replace a vehicle regularly. What are some old vehicles you all are still driving. I’m stuck in the early 2000s, because they are new enough to have some features, yet, mostly simple to service.

My 2014 has 70k. My job is .9 from my house. Plus, Covid. I have driven my car 2,000 on vacation once and out of state several times a year. It’s my only source of transportation. I normally fly when I “go places.”

I’m afraid with car prices the way they are I’m gonna become one of those people that are like JUST REPLACE THE MOTOR I was always the one to get new cars every 2-3 years once they reached around 80k miles But this time around ….. I’ll keep it till it doesn’t make sense anymore.

I bike to work rain or shine and generally fly away for vacations. And isn't this the frugal community? Lol. I only drive for weekend getaways, and I bought this vehicle used so not all the time or mileage is mine. To save money and protect the environment I walk, cycle, and use transit when it's more economical to do so :)
