What old cars are you frugal people nursing through life? 🚗 Auto

I remember the older generations would buy a car and drive it for two or three decades. Today it is pretty popular to replace a vehicle regularly. What are some old vehicles you all are still driving. I’m stuck in the early 2000s, because they are new enough to have some features, yet, mostly simple to service.

Oh my gosh! I was about to answer with a preface of saying I hope I don’t jinx myself. After seeing your response I’ve decided to be vague! I drive a lot for work so while my car doesn’t seem that old (2016) I’ve got 200k+ miles on it. third vehicle in my profession I’ve driven a vehicle that many miles

Not sure - I’d say 35% highway, the rest stop and go. I’m a real estate appraiser

In case anyone is curious the miles I’ve racked up more than 200k in less than 10!years have been a 99 Jeep Cherokee, 2012 grand Cherokee, and 2016 ford explorer sport (fave one so far)
