What old cars are you frugal people nursing through life? šŸš— Auto

I remember the older generations would buy a car and drive it for two or three decades. Today it is pretty popular to replace a vehicle regularly. What are some old vehicles you all are still driving. Iā€™m stuck in the early 2000s, because they are new enough to have some features, yet, mostly simple to service.

Currently driving an 05 Pontiac Vibe that I bought off a coworker a few years ago. Driving a 20 year old car now is not like driving a 20 year old car when I was younger. That usually meant some horrible gas guzzling Malaise Era tank.

Mine hit 320k before something in the bottom end ate itself. Bad noises and loss of power, but it refused to die until it got me home. Faithful beast.

Saw an 05 two days later for sale, 118k little old ladies car. Sometimes fate rewards you.

Those Vibes will run forever. Same thing as a Toyota matrix.
