I'm guessing it's a Taylor Swift reference.

I was just basing my assumption from all of the other comments. No idea why that McD's bucket would have anything to do with her.

u/blenneman05 10h ago
It’s the Eras Tour bucket that I purchased for $19.89 to see the movie because I got waitlisted for Miami. It holds trinkets and various mail.

Taylor Swift, mold, and refrigerated cat food. Checks out.

Why is everyone saying Taylor Swift? What's the giveaway?

I’m just in shock over all the utensils and kitchen tools in the fridge. My Germaphobia could NEVER

u/PrettyShittyMom 12h ago
Mice can’t get in the fridge. But if they could, they’d eat the top-shelf cat food not the utensils

1
u/blenneman05 11h ago
Well when you don’t have kitchen drawers- it’s either on the shelf and collecting dust or in the fridge. I just find the fridge better storage than the shelf

u/No_Room_1976 9h ago
yea…. the fridge is a wild place for utensils. This is my first time seeing this type of thing.

u/blenneman05 9h ago
I know!
My apartment complex used to be a hotel so the layout never changed . The lack of storage in my apartment is all too real.

Never seen a roach or bedbug tho. Everyone’s apartment gets sprayed monthly for roaches

Your height and weight don't make you diabetic. Just fyi. My old boss was 5'11" and 160lbs. He has type 2.

u/blenneman05 11h ago
TIL. I figured only overweight people got it…. I do get blood work every couple months due to my broken thyroid and my endocrinologist seems to be pleased with all my numbers besides my TSH…
I have the ginger ale because I suffer from cyclic vomiting syndrome and the ginger ale is there for days where my. stomach won’t hold down solids

The CVS isn’t from marijuana in my case. There’s a whole diff kinda name for cannabis induced vomiting…
I developed CVS and acid reflux after my gallbladder got removed
1
u/Gracieloves 10h ago
Use cannabis for vomiting it's one of its best uses... cannabis induced vomiting is insanely rare and usually from pesticides on cannabis not cannabis itself. I also have cyclical vomiting. If you haven't tried psilocybin it's worth a try. Dried Cantaloupe edibles seriously helped me if you can find them. Also RSO
1
u/blenneman05 10h ago
I’m scared of psilocybin because of not knowing my bio mom’s medical history and I’ve heard that shrooms can unlock mental illnesses that you didn’t know you had.
I don’t live in a legal state but I have promethazine from my Gastro doctor. It does absolutely nothing when I have to work at the office tho.
Zofran no longer works on me sadly
2
u/Gracieloves 10h ago
I guess it depends on how bad cyclical vomiting is. It was debilitating. Throwing up multiple times a day. So bad for esophagus - it's one of the worst cancers because they can't fix it and it's more likely if have severe vomiting. Also bad for teeth.
First experience with 🍄was terrible but did too much. Next ones were ethereal. I have chronic pain and PTSD so I was open to alternatives. Plus, I have had rare adverse reaction to prescription medications so I wanted something plant based. I suspect for me it is/was mental and diet related. Something reset though.
1
u/Former-Spread9043 35m ago
Then why are you refrigerating the cat food?
2
u/blenneman05 33m ago
Because I have a cat who figured out how to get into my bottom cabinets, open a brand new bag of food and spill it everywhere. The fridge he can’t open.
I’m getting some storage containers this weekend for the cat food.

u/Firm_Owl742 12h ago
the frozen fruit, lots of apple sauce, and the tuna creations tell me that you've got some kinda medical-related dietary issue maybe and these are easier on the stomach. i do not think it is mental based on the presence of "butter", mayo, and ice cream
2
u/blenneman05 11h ago
100%. I have cyclic vomiting syndrome so the apple sauce and ginger ale are for days where my stomach is fighting me

u/blenneman05 11h ago
I don’t have kitchen drawers in my apartment. Just two bottom kitchen cabinets and shelves that are already full.
1
u/Legitimate_Middle_50 12h ago
I seriously cannot deduce a single reason why, Im hoping op has an answer lol
1
u/Poo_Poo_La_Foo 12h ago
The only time I've refrigerated cutlery is making pastry with cold kives? Because you want everything cold. This however is just unhinged (let's ignore the open cat food for now).
1
u/Legitimate_Middle_50 12h ago
ahh that makes so much sense! id say they were maybe doing the same but I see metal straws in there lol.
2
u/Itsnotrealitsevil 12h ago
Why is there cat food in the fridge?? I promise you, it doesn’t need to be refrigerated
3
u/agirl2277 12h ago
It keeps the vermin from eating it? I had a mouse problem one winter until I put the dog food in a plastic container and kept it off of the floor.
The utensils are it for me. Do they have no storage in their kitchen?
2
u/blenneman05 10h ago
My apartment complex used to be a hotel and they never changed the design. I have no kitchen drawers so if I put it on my already crowded shelf- it would collect dust.
The cat food is in the fridge because my cat figured out how to get in my kitchen cabinets , knock over the cat bag and open it and I woke up to ants.
But under a normal layout, I would not be refrigerating cat food
1
u/agirl2277 9h ago
Yeah, I figured. My fridge is in the dining room. Lack of space makes for odd solutions.
3
u/blenneman05 9h ago
My “apartment” is 300 sq foot so essentially 1 room with a separate door for the bathroom. My windows don’t even open. I don’t have an oven/fridge either.
I make do with what I have.
1
u/agirl2277 9h ago
Sucks man, I hope things get better for you. Especially health wise. I hope you are Canadian so at least your health care is covered. I ruined my teeth from constant vomiting. Gerd and endometriosis is a tough mix. Menopause fixed that problem for me.
At least you have a space for you and your cat.

u/ChillPill_ 6h ago
*Then
There's cheese (with an s), charcuterie, various veggies, eggs, cooking cream, various juices and sodas leftover from a party, plenty of different sauces, strawberry marmelade, pear marmelade, maple syrup, butter, mayo ketchup, beer, some old edibles I'm afraid to eat, frozen meat, veggies, fries and pizzas, some pasta leftovers I forgot about and should probably throw away. And there's no cutlery... Seriously, what is that about ? Genuinely curious.
I'm not showing cause it is not very clean and I'm a bit ashamed. But there's an annoying leak that makes it hard to maintain clean. I rarely order food and try to cook as much as possible. Food is one of life's pleasures.
But I guess murdering people is one too, to each their own 😂😛
1
u/blenneman05 2h ago
To the cutlery, I don’t have a kitchen drawers and my place is only 300sq feet sooo it’s better storage in the fridge versus sitting on a shelf that is already overcrowded. I don’t own an oven/stove. My apartment didn’t come with those things. I have an air fryer and a microwave
Honestly I have more food in my cabinets that I do in my fridge but 🤷🏼♀️….
1
u/Krazy_Granna 12h ago
You like to eat actual meals but you don’t know how to cook from scratch. You also have a serious ginger ale addiction. 😀
1
u/GullibleRisk2837 12h ago
Doesn't eat real food, prolly eats cat food alongside the cats, and washes it down with soda. Afterwards, you much on a drumstick ice cream and wat a lil bowl o' fruit
2
u/blenneman05 11h ago
Soo here’s some stats for ya: I’m 5”0 and 112lbs.
I also suffer from cyclic vomiting syndrome and struggle to keep weight on me. The soda is there on days where I can’t keep down solids . Applesauce is also used for that purpose as well
The cat food is in the fridge due to my cat figuring out how to get into the cabinet and knock over my last bag of cat food and spilling it everywhere. It got moved to the fridge
Honestly, I have better food that’s shown in my cabinets but this is fridge detective not cabinet detective
1
u/GullibleRisk2837 6h ago
I apologize, I was purely joking, and meant no offense, as this sub often looks like a place where people come to joke around on, and I'm relatively new to it. I will refrain from joking around as much on here, because I don't want to come across as a complete and total ass, and I'm sorry if I have to you.
I am very sorry to hear this. Is this curable? I wish you the very best on what must be a hellish medical journey.
Hahahaha the cat food in the fridge is a great idea to prevent this!!! That's genius, as there's nowhere they can't get to it.
I'm sure there are healthier foods in there, man! Hang in there and keep taking care of yourself the way you do.
1
u/blenneman05 2h ago
It’s not curable but it can be manageable with knowing my triggers and being able to take sleep inducing nausea meds when I can…
On the days when an episode hits, it’s better for me to have liquids versus solids. I do need to go grocery shopping but since I never know when an episode will hit me, my fridge is kept light compared to my cabinets which has more shelf stable food.
1
u/_Kicked_Puppy_ 12h ago
Do u make a lot of smoothies? I see a bunch of frozen fruit and I can’t think what else to use it for. Also is that cat food in ur fridge???
1
u/blenneman05 11h ago
Yes on the smoothies and the cat food is in the fridge because I have a cat who can open my kitchen cabinets. The fridge- he can’t open
1
u/DeniedBread712 12h ago
All I want to know is why the cat kibble is in the fridge.
1
u/blenneman05 11h ago
I have a cat that can open my kitchen cabinets. Hence the fridge. I should probably get big enough Tupperware for it
1
u/DeniedBread712 10h ago
My cat opens the cupboards too lol. I wash the buckets the litter comes in out, and they have a lid on it. I used one for their food and have a stack of the rest to use as buckets if I need it. Also, the cat food doesn't get weird or soggy in the fridge?
1
u/blenneman05 10h ago
Nope!
When I have smaller bags of cat food- they go in Tupperware containers but this bag of cat food- I don’t have enough Tupperware containers to store it all
2
u/DeniedBread712 10h ago
Get one of those plastic litter containers, they're good for most sized bags of cat food, hold 1kg food plus depending on the size you get. Cat needs litter anyways and then you get your fridge back. Like the biggest Tupperware, and you get it as a free bonus.

You're single person who eats out every meal unless you're making a smoothie.
You don't have alot of free time to spend several hours to over organize your fridge just to snap some photos to impress some reddit forum.
