And so, the journey begins… Final Fantasy General

Post image

I was never into RPGs but my brother convinced me to try FFX in high school and since then they’ve become my favorite genre to play. I’ve on played FFX & FFXV in the Final Fantasy series but all of that is about to change! I’m super excited to play through all of these/replay FFX.

if he hasn’t played any of 7 crisis core won’t have any effect on them plus ruin playing 7

If he’s going to play all FF’s from switch and complete the collection, crisis core is a must!

I mean the implication was that they'd play 7 before crisis core reunion

i think it gives nice context to 7, i wouldn't say it ruins it but eh thats just my opinion

Not necessarily. I started with Crisis Core and i loved it. It does spoils FF7, but it is definitely enjoyable on its own

won't have much affect since crisis core is a prequal to the events of FF7. you could say you will come into FF7 knowing more than most players did in their first time playing.

Which is not how FF7 was intended. It spoils the games biggest twist

Which twist?

Cloud as a character is the meat and potatoes of FF7's story and Crisis Core deals with what's really going on there.

Playing crisis core wouldn't ruin playing 7 at all

Crisis Core spoils a major plot twist in FFVII.

Not really, just to clarify, I do know what you are talking about, but the game itself Existing already does that, and that is what I mean by not really
