Search the sub for stink, stinky, odor, smell etc. it’s covered on a regular basis.

Could be the treatment plant or the paper mills.

It’s practically always the paper mill.

One hundred separate reasons but really it doesn’t matter, this place smells like shit for one reason or another 365 days a year, every once in while the winds shifts enough on a day the granola factory is making something maple heavy to bring a little relief for a few minutes

Springfields paper mill is usually the culprit.

Papermill, water treatment plant, westbound wind with dump smells.. all the fun stuff

It's the paper mill in Springfield and the retention pond they have. Don't worry you only smell it when the wind blows from the east.
