Best breakfast burrito in town?
I’m looking for breakfast burritos, ideally under $10. Anyone have any favorite spots in town?
Edit: Wow, I didn’t expect such a mutual love of breakfast burritos. Thanks y’all I really appreciate it!

Tacos Mex Birrieria at the new-ish food truck pod off of 6th and Filmore right on the very Western edge of the whit, almost to Chambers. Great prices, great ingredients, and really nice people. The burritos are big and well packed, and the breakfast ones come with a lot of meat. I believe they're $6-8$ each, and they're pretty much two servings.

I've had a few of these now, and they are really tasty and a good bang for your buck. The potatoes are so good in the breakfast burritos.

Tacos Mex Birrieria has all day breakfast burritos for $6.50. They're huge! Also really tasty. 6th and Chambers (right before Chambers on the right)

They appear to be busy whenever I go there, which is pretty often.

Oh good! The two times I was there I went before they open according to google maps. I was there at 9-9:30ish and google says they open at 10am. Probably explains it.

Oh I got you on this! I fucking live for breakfast burritos and I'm happy with several of the suggestions in here already, but I just found this place and it's my new favorite. Food truck called "Tacos Mex Birrieria" and they make a gog damn tasty breakfast burrito. Very sizeable (two portions worth for some) and priced $6.50 -$8-ish. Really nice little pod of carts with picnic table seating and a large covered tent also.

Nelson's machaca burrito is always amazing. He uses birria meat in them and it's so tasty!

El Buen Sabor on 8th and Olive, they put grilled onion and tomato in theirs along with super creamy melty oaxacan cheese and homemade tortillas. They also use a fried egg rolled along with the tortilla instead of acrambled so the texture is increible

The review no one asked for: I tried Tacos Mex Birreria this morning, even though I’m a committed Burrito Boy chorizo breakfast burrito gal. I really liked Tacos Mex. Burrito boy has more flavorful chorizo and better green salsa imo, but the tortillas and crispy potatoes were so good at Tacos Mex. Burrito Boy is still my fav (Broadway location), but Tacos Mex was excellent.

El Taco express. Bacon one. The potatoes melt in your mouth. Big ol pieces of fresh cooked bacon. Yum!

There chopped bacon leaves the most disgusting feeling throughout the day. If that was a higher quality protein source I would agree.

Not any more. Used to be good years ago. The last few times I got one, not even warm enough to melt the cheese. Almost zero flavor, and they keep getting smaller. Mami’s on west 11th is pretty solid.

Toxic burger on west 11th does pulled pork breakfast burritos. One of my fave things. They do a ton of others too but pulled pork is the best.

Did Nelson just shut down his truck and is now concentrating on the restaurant? Or did he move the truck somewhere else?

It’s right across the road, in the Papa’s Soul Food/Bari driveway where there was the Halal Cart for a minute. I had the same panic before I noticed. Not sure if he’s taking over that building since someone tried to torch his current building…

Burrito Amigos, and others people have mentions. But I would also say as much as I won’t each their other food, Taco Bell’s breakfast burrito is ok too. For a quick cheep option. The bacon toasted grande burrito one.

Mama Myra’s is where it’s at, but also I feel I now need to try this Blue Taco truck at Chambers and Fillmore - lots of love here apparently

El taco express 1000000%. I moved to Colorado and the first thing I get when I go visit family in Eugene..every time, is a 3 meat breakfast burrito from El Taco Express. Get it with sour cream on the side and green suace. Will not disappoint!!!!!! Literally crave this burrito! No match!

Lots of solid options here but I’ll toss out El Taco Express in Springfield (huge, cheap, delicious) and Mama Myra’s in Eugene (not quite as huge, but also delicious)!
