[CONFLICT] Results: First Wave of Riekling Civil War CONFLICT
After weeks-long sieges and lengthy travel times from the battle at Bloodskal Barrow, the soldiers have finally returned. The Rieklings, used to civil war, all instinctively know where to send their leader to negotiate. As each chief begins toward Brodir Grove, troops clean their armour and prepare for another battle, unsure if one is to come.
[The Rieklings hold a council in Brodir Grove after the first major battles of a civil war and negotiate terms of peace. If a tribe is unhappy with the outcome, they must decide if they wish to continue the war, or suck it up. This is often where tribes split or merge.]
When they all arrive, Chief Ghak Chetoofi delivers a battle report. He explains that...
2,000 spearmen, 2,000 boarback riders, and 300 shamans from the Bichi tribe were killed.
1,000 spearmen and 1,000 boarback riders the Arketoo tribe were obliterated.
1,000 Arketoo spearmen were captured as bargaining chips.
1,500 spearmen and 500 boarback riders the Sahkoo tribe were slaughtered.
4,000 spearmen and 2,000 boarback riders the Ghak tribe were slain.
200 footmen from Redoran were killed in their assault.
800 infantry and 400 battlemages from Raven Rock were found dead.
300 troops of the Dragonguard (what they misinterpreted the Dragon Star Company to be) were annihilated.
1 barque (light ship) from Raven Rock was captured by the Sahkoo.
...at the battle at Bloodskal Barrow. At the siege of Thirsk, Chief Bantoo Ajooshi explains,
800 Bantoo troops were killed.
1,000 Bichi troops were killed, while the rest routed.
Chief Bichi Yuruk was captured.
And at the raid of Karstaag Keep,
1,500 boarback riders and 1,000 Hafta spearmen were executed.
1,500 Sahkoo spearmen and 500 shamans died.
Negotiations are expected to begin soon.

Chief Rappalay insists that the Sahkoo deserve control of Moesring Mountains currently under the Arketoo, because the Arketoo cowards retreated from the battle at the barrow. This insult sets off another brawl, this time ending in Chief Arketoo Praak's death. Victorious, Rappalay demands the Stone-Sing Cave in addition to the mountains. Although the Arketoo will be unhappy, they have little choice.

When the negotiations near a close, the new world map is presented. Krifa Arketoo Zadee becomes Cheef Arketoo Zadee, replacing Praak. No chief is appointed for the Ghak, as they will be a subject tribe, and therefore deserve no chief.

You would go negotiate with the Bichi, but this was a war council.

I meant a Riekling war council. You would want to discuss this with Chief Yuruk. Maybe make a diplomacy post to talk to him.

He was released, and would be near Thormoor's Watch.

The College of Whispers mage is eagerly watching the negotiations, although he is quite nervous about being in a room full of them. They were so alien, after all, and thus wildcards.
The mage is hit by some of the spray of blood as Chetoofi is slain by Chief Yuruk. Nothing new there, made him think of the arena in White-Gold City.
What is most interesting to him is how they see Solstheim as the only world. They likely have no knowledge of the rest of Tamriel or Nirn. What would their reaction be if they found out? Indifference?

You lost 300 people. Whatever that leaves you with, I'm not sure, because you were never given numbers for a spreadsheet that I remember.

Ajooshi removes Yuruk's hood.
"Moo kosaan pultor Cheef Yuruk ark Thirsk geekaal moond. Bichi fend vodahvoor."1
Yuruk snaps at him, and begins shouting. The two become entangled in a wrestling match, and Yuruk pulls his ceremonial bonds apart. Blood flies everywhere as they wail on each other, until Chetoofi joins in to attack Yuruk, at which point Ajooshi draws a knife and attempts to stab Yuruk to death. Yuruk evades the blade, and directs it into Chetoofi's throat.
Yuruk stands up, pumping his fists and shouting, "Goora! Goora! Goora!"
All of the chiefs solemnly understand that this, combined with the defeat at Bloodskal Barrow, means the Ghak are obliged to the Bichi.
Ajooshi had captured Yuruk and Thirsk, though, so the Bantoo rightfully owned the Bichi territory on the east side of the world. The Arketoo, as the most powerful tribe if the Bichi were to lose Thirsk, naturally support the decision. The Hafta and the Sahkoo, in their fresh alliance, see a strengthened Bantoo as a potential threat towards the Arketoo, strongly support it as well, making it law.
