Jack Points
Gonna be replacing the shocks in my truck I was wondering what spots I can jack up the truck? I usually use the rear axel when doing my rear but I know it’s a lot liver than the front. I have a 2001 4wd

Center point just past the steering rack is good, then jack stands on the frame behind the wheel wells.

There's 4 "reccomended" jack points on most vehicles. In this case, the frame, aft of and inline with the front wheels and the frame, fore of and inline with the rear wheels. It's a full frame truck, though. You can stick the jack just about anywhere on the frame where it is full thickness and bear 50% of the truck's weight, so long as it isn't rusted through.

It’s a full frame truck. Any part of the frame will do.
