Question ❓ Steam Achievements
In my recent video I posted I talked on the subject of Steam Achievements showing up for the game, even managed to grab some screenshot. However, they are no longer showing. So for the development team I ask, are Steam Achievements still being planned for this game? If yes, when can we expect to see them go live? As of this writing no information has been given anywhere about it and I'm curious.

Operations It’s been Hell since Black Hawk
I can’t extract anymore. The amount of sweaters is insane and can’t compete.
I am playing with squad fill and trying everything to make it work but nope. - rats who only go for loot, - players who do their own thing. Some rush alone and frag when they die, some start running as soon as someone dies in squad - Chinese without comms - Teammates with with uncompetent loadouts (I understand them, they are squad filling too but at this rank everyone uses at least purple gear and they stand no chance against them)
I don’t even care about them stealing my loot, ducking to boxes as soon as you kill someone etc anymore witch happens a lot
Any advice ? Feeling stuck and don’t know what to do.
Tried going solo, snipe, rat but none of them worked too.

Operations After playing whole day ZD normals and breaking even on profits/losses I though its time to use some recruit gear tickets..
First game found keycard for 2 mil, second game killed a guy who was in the middle of a fight with bizon on blue ammo, though to myself "jesus he took whole mag of these", threw smoke, stole his gear and just run away on overdrive.
Yeah, leme just create a church of Holy Zero Dam Easy at this point.

Operations NA has way less cheaters than EU
Today my team and I tried 12 matches on NA, Zero Dam Normal, Layali Normal and Brakkesh and we had only one cheater in match #2.
Just to compare, the day before he had back to back 2 cheaters in the 2 first matches and most of the time it's about 50/50 on normal.
I am amazed, finally we can play on normal without feeling broken by balatant cheaters after a few rounds. It's heaven for us.
The only thing that makes me wonder is that the queue times are way longer than EU. We waited about 5mins for Brakkesh and Layali normal. In EU you always find a match on easy within 10secs and normal within 30secs.
But we don't mind waiting 5min sometimes, if we get 83% less cheating. Tarkov had this queue times and more on every match search ^
Just sharing my experience with you out there and might update information when we have done more matches.
I'm so happy rn.
Love y'all <3

Warfare Starting to get fed up with in progress matches
I'm really starting to get fed up with this game. I almost exclusively get stuck into running matches now. Out of the last 12 games I joined, 10 had already started. Out of those 9 were at least 200 tickets in and of those I was on the losing side 8 out of 9 times. In five of those matches my team had only two or fewer flags and was well behind in tickets when I joined. Two matches had really terrible balance, with one match on shafted ending 565 to 1300, because my team could not hold a flag for more than ten seconds. The other game I took three deaths at the beginning just trying to get out of the spawn on Threshold without getting killed by the attack choopper...
I don't mind occasionally joining running matches, even on the losing side. But lately it feels all I get to do is play catch up and hope the team I get stuck into hasn't already resigned itself to losing. It wasn't so bad while I was still grinding for merit, because at least that gave me the mid-way join +5. But now that I am Marshal, its really starting to get old...
Anyone else experience this?

Operations Is there any operator that "turns off" skills?
Hey,
I have another questions.
This week couple of times I encountered a situation when my skills are "turned off" - I cannot use any of the for like 5-10 seconds. As far as I know the game and read all operators skills, there is no operator with ability to "turn off" enemies skills.
Is it just another cheat, or is there sometimes from the game mechanic that I'm missing?
I'm not stunned, I'm not pinned, I'm not damaged. I'm just "detected" and all my skills are "turned off". And that happened to my entire team, not just me.
Thanks!

Looking for Group Looking for squadmates Midwest U.S.
Hello, I'm looking for friendly adults to squad up and play! I mainly play in the evenings between 6-7 p.m. until whenever. Prefer extraction, but will play warfare too.
I have a discord server named DrunkenMasters. Used to run BF servers back in the day that were very popular.
I'm not the best player, but I like to enjoy a few adult beverages while playing and shooting the breeze and looking for like minded folks who wanna do the same!
Cheers

Discussion 🗣️ Help! Tips & Tricks to reach Marshal
Hello, I'm currently at around 2750 Elo, averaging games with 500-600 SPM and sometimes hitting 800 SPM. I have a series of questions for anyone who can help me:
- What tips can you give me to score more and reach Marshal rank?
- Is it possible to reach Marshal with the remaining time left?
- Any advice for players who don't have godlike aim (like me, who's more in the average range)?
- Thanks to everyone!

Technical Issues / Help ⚙️ PC performance tanking when alt-tabbed but in the menu
Does anyone else have the issue where when they are alt-tabbed out of the game, their PC becomes very sluggish? I'm not even loaded into the game. It could be at any point of the menu such as when you just launched the game and you have to choose between the three game modes, or anywhere in the menus of Operations whether it's the main menu, any of the tabs, operation selection, or even the post-match menu.
I also notice that if you alt-tab back into the game when it's sluggish, wait a few seconds, and then alt-tab back out of the game, the slugginess will go away for a few minutes before coming back.

Warfare Begginer's Tips - Warfare A/D mode
After more than 200 hours registered on the game and General of the Army rank, I came in here to give some tips for beginners, specifically on Warfare A-D mode. They are majorly on importance order, but are still usefull if learned non-linearly.
Hope it helps someone.
Every single tip in here listed is debatable, I have no intention to have the monopoly on truth, just want to help players starting on the game.
Since english is not my native language (and as such, my game language is not on english as well), if you guys could correct me on the "standard" terminology I can edit the post in the future.
1. Learn when to respawn and when to wait for a heal. Each of the situations listed below are almost independent and sequential which means that you don't need to fulfill all of the items. If you fulfilled 1, ignore the rest. Respawn.
- Are you substantialy close to your true respawn? If so, then just respawn. 95% of the times you will be right, with the time you will understand the 5% where it is not a good decision, but for a beginner, respawning is just going to be more usefull for your team. Forget about points for medics for now, it won't be useful for a beginner.
- Are you substantially far from a medic? If so, then you should probably respawn. Most of the times other roles on the team are more important doing something else then healing people (or are simply going to ignore you anyway). This DOES NOT apply to medics. 99% of the time other players, even not being a medic, should be healing one if there are none close. If you are a beginner, learn this: You must heal medics if there are none around.
- Are you in the middle of a fight, trying to capture an advantage point or even an objective? If not, then respawn. Keeping bodies on an advantage point might be good, if well used, in this case, not respawning might be considered.
- Are you relatively close from a medic? If so, then wait. If he isn't moving to you and doesn't seem to have noticed you, respawn
- Are you in the middle of a large crossfire point, that healing you would put the healer in a lot of danger? If so, most likely you just need to respawn. This tip needs a little more comprehension and adaptation to the context in which you are, I'd say 70% of the times you will be right. Sometimes, it would be good for you to wait a respawn, but still, important to notice.
- Have you died from a tricky point? Such as a close corner not expected to have someone, a bird's nest, or whichever place that trying to heal you would probably just give one more death (of the healer) to the team? Then PLEASE respawn! Don't kill your medics staying on dull points being a trap for your own team
2. Look at the radar and at the map, specially mid-game, most specially yet if you have 2 points to capture/defend. Lots of times there will be separate squads rushing different points or from different routes. If there is a big discrepancy on its distribution, go to the squad that are low on players. If there is a plain discrepancy on its distribution, stay on the bigger squad. Two completely split in half squads is not a good strategy, one big squad is not a good strategy as well (most of the times).
3. If you have technically captured an objective - which means, killed all of the enemies and is just a matter of TIME to capture it -, but not entirely captured an objective, STAY. AT. THE. OBJECTIVE. The more players inside the area, the faster and safer the capture will be and more players will be able to rush to the next objective together. Also, it prevents that the few players that would be guarding the objective afterwards to receive a rushing comeback from the enemy to take the advantage point back - which creates the dynamic of switching points the entire time.
- More experienced players will know when it is "safe" to leave the objective point, or simply more strategic to rush towards another point. Since you are not an advanced one, and most likely will not be able to capture an objective with disadvantage in numbers, let this to the advanced ones early on.
4. Choose wisely your character (you can test all of them primarily) and focus on him/her. You will not get good on the game playing each game with a different character. Not at the beginning, at least.
5. Also choose wisely your weapon (you can also test all of them primarily) and focus on it. Not only you will not get good on the game playing each game with a different weapon, but also you will not level it.
6. Build and calibrate the weapon of your preference. No matter which, there certainly is a video on youtube showing some builds. Test some and stay with the one that suits your playstyle the most.
7. Learn and use the skills of your operator on most suitable situations.
- If you have smoke, use it either to block the view of a passage, smoke the player you are healing, create a visual barrier of an entire point or create a curtain for a rush to your team
- If you have detection, use it to help your team rush or defend a point. Knowing where your enemy are is almost as important as killing him (and sometimes more important).
- If you have flash/dragonfly/sonic trap/etc, use it on the rush of your team, or to break a rush from the enemy team.
- If you have grenades, use it either to clean a spot before a rush, or to break a rush/mass heal from a spot
- If you have a barrier, use it to create cover points on strategic "in-between" large points.
8. Spam some bullets on smokes. Most of the times smokes will be a tool to heal someone on the ground, a defending point or a rushing point. Either of the cases, there might be players behind this smoke curtain.
9. Use your support points. If you don't know on what to use - and don't want to use a vehicle -, simply spawn a good vehicle somewhere safe on the map and let somebody else that knows what to do use it.
- Since the probability of a beginner reach Cruise Missiles EXP is neglectable, this won't be covered.
- The use of a respawn beacon is very strategic, but limited. The probability of a beginner not knowing where it would be more useful, or even put in on a position that would be destroyed pretty soon afterwards is very high, as such, it is not recommended as well.
- Smoke barrage might be useful, but also might wreck the game for your team, and so, a beginner should not be using it early on
- Artillery Strikes are very useful, and should be the first priority for a beginner to learn where and when to use it, since it is relatively cheap (EXP attainable), but, I would still recommend to start with the vehicles. A good use of a vehicle from a more experienced player can be more useful most of the times than a not-very-good-chosen location of Artillery Strikes.
10. Suppress fire. Lots of rushes are stopped with supressing fire, even if you do not hit or kill anybody.
11. Lose the fear of dying, even though you should not die without a purpose behind. This is probably the most important tip, but also the hardest to understand the situations. Keep in mind that either attacking or defending, adopting an agressive playstile *GENERALLY* rewards you. Being stupidly agressive, although, simply create one less player to attack or defend and you become useless.
- Dying to kill a healer that would probably save an entire squad is a good agressive play and a good dying
- Dying to kill 3 or 4 players that are rushing some objective point - and gain time for your team to defend it - is a good agressive play and a good dying
- Dying to destroy a vehicle is a good agressive play and a good dying
- Dying to kill a sniper that are stomping your teammates, specially if he is far away from its spawn point, most specially if you killed his respawn beacon, is a good agressive play and a good dying
- Dying to gain space on a close quarter entrance for your team is a good agressive play and a good dying
- Dying to capture an objective point that CAN be kept from your team right after is a good agressive play and a good dying
- Dying to create a split between the enemy team to defend a second objective point, weakening the first one, specially if it ended up on capturing the first objective point is definetely a good agressive play and a good dying
- Dying to delay significantly a rush from the enemy team is a good agressive play and a good dying.
- Dying to save many players - that were able to stay alive as well and maybe healing you afterwards is definetely a good agressive play and a good dying
- Dying to kill a remote spawn point - generally - is a good agressive play and a good dying.
- All other deaths from agressive plays probably do not have a purpose behind. In this case, then you should be playing safe and staying alive as long as you can. Deaths from normal crossing fire defending/attacking a point doesn't count on this statistics, since it is the game as usual.
- Keep in mind that all of this dyings should be analyzed on the spectrum of "when to respawn" (Tip #1) afterwards. Sometimes you will die and be healed right after, which makes the agressive play even better.
Important to notice: Those are beginner's tips. More advanced ones would be counter-intuitive to those, for example: Value your life, learn how to play at least decently with each operator, learn how to play with more than one weapon, change operators throughout the game, etc. I'm compilling those and adquiring more experience to make a post on "intermediate" ones.
As said early on: Hope it helps someone, totally open for inclusions or reviewing some points after the comments.
