The series still isn’t picking up enough traction on social media Hiro Mashima
I made a post about this before and got downvoted and insulted for it by whiny fanboys. Skip to two months later and look nothing has changed. In fact it’s worse. The last dead rock chapter thread on here barely cracked 20 comments. And the one that came today barely cracks ten.
Ez even in the beginning got over a hundred comments and that series isn’t exactly popular either. Maybe dead rock just isn’t commercialized enough? Idk but again this isn’t me shitting on the series it’s just acknowledging that it’s not picking up a lot of interest with people and the first volume sales show. And don’t hit me with that monthly excuse because even one punch man and attack on Titan before they got anime were talked about way more and they were monthly.
Bet those people who get mad at me before got another funny excuse to share tho. Basic criticism gets them heated smh.
Again this isn’t hate just calling a spade a spade.

Ya, When I checked on this sub a month ago it was totally dead. It's a really shame
I wish Dead Rock and EZ got FairyTail levels of traction

Unfortunately, Mashima's time of popularity has passed, today's market is full of many fresh and more interesting things than the ideas of a man who remains stuck in the early 2000s.

Yeah well as someone who was excited by the freshness of EZ, at the time. I was completely disappointed by Hiro falling back on his worst traits when the Ziggy reveal happened, and onwards.
I can only spend so much time on series that keep disappointing. I checked out DR, it’s fine but how long til Hiro starts doing the same tropes all over again.
He needs to evolve and bring something new. There is too much newer content out there competing for my time.
