Asexuals can get lost too, I mean unless that counts as an orientation

as an asexual (aromantic too!) yes i would say it counts as an orientation! we are oriented towards nobody, that is all

So you reproduce by mitosis?

u/Sand_the_Animus 5d ago
nah, i don't experience sexual attraction. asexuality in people is different from asexuality in biology ^^

u/Optimistic_Regret 4d ago
And here I thought biology pertained to understanding biological lifeforms (including humans), does the scientific term of hypoxia still pertain to you or is that also magically excluded for humans?
I'm not saying you can't be you, just dont tell other people what words to call you if those words already have a pre-existing definition. Be yourself! Just dont affect others while doing it, otherwise we start going into religious shove it down the throats of non-believers territory and nobody likes that twak.

words can have multiple definitions ^^ "asexuality" has been used to describe those who lack sexual attraction for multiple decades.

You know when you look at the dictionary, and under a word there's definition 1, definition 2, etc? And sometimes there's parentheses around a word like "(Biology)" "(Theology)", "(Archaic)" and then you use your brain to decipher context clues to figure out which one applies to what you're looking up?

Asexuality is, indeed, an orientation (no matter how much straight people AND gay/bi people want it to not be an actual orientation 🙄), lol

"If you don't smoke you might care about getting cancer, and if you care about getting cancer, then you can't work here because we have a lot of asbestos dust and no ventilation, and we don't like complainers!"

u/randynumbergenerator 5d ago
On the contrary, it's because I smoke that I have to be extra-careful about other lung-destroying things. If it's going to destroy my lungs, I may as well get some temporary pleasure out of it!

I'm missing something. What exactly is crappy about the design?

u/Disastrous-Ad9001 5d ago
It's a sort of double negative. The other items on the list are all positives, so if you lack them ("NO...") you get NO WORK. However, smoking is a negative, whereas here it seems to be listed as compulsory.

I worked at a place where there was a sign that said:
"This is a non-working smokeplace"

u/Superb_Ebb_6207 5d ago
I don't get what's so bad about this one... Someone please explain to my dumbass
1
u/Ipoopoo69 5d ago
Its a double negative. It basically says don't don't smoke. It suggests that smoking is mandatory.
-1
u/Superb_Ebb_6207 5d ago
I don't see how that is... I'm reading from left to right and top to bottom but it doesn't read like that
3
u/Ipoopoo69 5d ago
The bottom line applies to all above rules so read it like this: No boots no work! No smoking no work! No hard hat no work! etc.

u/CityEvening 5d ago
Is the last line saying they don’t want people to work?
All of this could have been solved the no smoking having an exclamation mark, and the others with question marks.
