There's no wrong hole for he...

u/pug_userita haha funny flair 6d ago

i guess there would be 2/3 "right" holes, the others are ears, nose and the holes where tears exit out of. technically 1 is the correct one

-27

u/Walk-the-layout 6d ago

There's 0 right hole for me, as nobody tries.

You should get a French girlfriend.

-20

u/Walk-the-layout 6d ago

I am the french girlfriend. Without the girl. Without the friend.

u/3Chart 6d ago

Nonetheless ...you should get a French girlfriend.

Only an issue for people who have the port configuration of that Apple device memorized… for everyone else it’s a pretty generic way of saying “this can power a laptop”. Another case of the manufacturer cheaping out on the ad budget.

u/Kyla_3049 7d ago

There is a USB port on the left of the HDMI. Why didn't they use that?

114

u/nikhkin 7d ago

It probably looked better plugged into the port furthest away.

17

u/F-Lambda 6d ago

But you can literally see the port sticking out the sides...

4

u/AuelDole 6d ago

Why tf you get downvoted so much?

-11

u/Kyla_3049 6d ago edited 6d ago

I don't know. I'm stating the truth. Although the other comments may have thought I meant USB-A by just USB.

18

u/Magmagan *insert keming joke* 6d ago

No it's just the most minor detail you're going on about.

6

u/Automatic_Actuator_0 6d ago

It’s just a minor cut corner while making an ad on a tight budget that almost no one will notice and those who do won’t be confused in the slightest bit. We’ve all seen so much worse.

And the downvotes are because you are arguing with people saying that, so many of those who feel the same express that with a downvote.

-2

u/CatlessBoyMom 6d ago

Because the cord would have partially blocked the other port from being seen or AI isn’t that smart. One or the other.

13

u/Magmagan *insert keming joke* 6d ago

This is a cheap render, but it's not AI at all...

We've come full circle. Now we're too skeptical of normal images

8

u/saltyjohnson plz 2 updoot 6d ago

Now we're too skeptical of normal images

The biggest danger of AI imo. If anything can be fake, then nothing is real.

Are you real?

3

u/saltyjohnson plz 2 updoot 6d ago

Of course I'm real! How can I assist you today?

More like terrible illustration, product design seems fine

u/NoCalligrapher461 6d ago

Ugreen is pretty decent in my experience. I'd rank them up there with Anker

22

u/hyrulepirate 6d ago

Yeah, it's the cheaper Anker but the build quality is pretty much on par.

-24

u/Better-Ground-843 6d ago

Nothing beats Anker

4

u/NoCalligrapher461 6d ago

Yeah I mean Anker is the gold standard for charging cables and blocks

-32

u/Better-Ground-843 6d ago

Yup. And don't you forget it

5

u/FrogBiscuits 6d ago

Or what?

-4

u/Better-Ground-843 6d ago

Or waste your money on crap that doesn't work

3

u/NoCalligrapher461 6d ago

Other shit works it's just not as nice lol

2

u/frogotme 6d ago

I mean a lot does, especially if it's a camera.

-2

u/Better-Ground-843 6d ago

Not at all.

34

u/DeadoTheDegenerate 7d ago

Nono, that's what they do at work, too.

Hey now, they stopped calling customer support about broken cup holders years ago.

(For those who are youngsters- when computers first got CD capability a lot of older people thought the slide out CD tray was a cup holder, broke it and called customer support to complain)

9

u/DeadoTheDegenerate 6d ago

LMAO a classic

Still my favourite Internet interaction was super early on a forum when someone posted an exe for a free cup holder. Back when people would both just post exe's and run them without worry.

All it did was pop the CD Drive, shit was the funniest thing ever back then

lol

23

u/shtc10 7d ago

UGreen makes pretty good products ngl

16

u/sicarius254 7d ago

I would never have noticed, but that’s hilarious

4

u/NaoPb 6d ago

That's how good that cable is. You don't even have to look at what whole you're plugging it into.

4

u/UnsorryCanadian 7d ago

USB-C can carry HDMI video, so it must go the other way around too, right?

Right?

1

u/Mirar 6d ago

A quick google says yes, you can charge with HDMI, https://www.anker.com/au/blogs/chargers/understanding-how-to-charge-laptop-with-hdmi

...but I'm not sure if an AI made that up or not

2

u/Magmagan *insert keming joke* 6d ago

AI slop. No, this makes no sense and isn't remotely possible.

3

u/Mirar 6d ago

You can power things over HDMI, but I haven't heard of the charging circuit being connected on a laptop. It would be tremendously boring, anyway, you only get 50mA 5V on pin 18 so it would take a few days at best.

1

u/ebrum2010 1d ago

It's only going to get worse as new AIs train on other AI articles.

4

u/Alexandratta 6d ago

...that's .. a common place for a USB-C port to be in many laptops.

3

u/Smeeble09 7d ago

Didn't notice that, and I bought this charger for when I travel for work.

3

u/jxj24 7d ago

SUPERCHARGE YOUR VIDEO

The secret THEY don't want you to know!!!

3

u/Something_Else_2112 6d ago

While power pack hovers nearby, anxiously observing the debacle

3

u/Tiny-Composer-6641 6d ago

How is it so many people don't understand what crappy design means? Social media brain rot?

2

u/Lauris024 6d ago

Ugreen is actually my go-to company for solid cables, chargers, buds and other electronics if I don't want to pay premium for anker or whatever. They're solid and have never had problems with them.

1

u/Cokeinmynostrel 7d ago

Then explain how it's charging with onlyb30 minutes til full?

1

u/D3monVolt Reddit Orange 6d ago

Well, it IS called universal. Serial bus.

1

u/Cool-Technician-1206 5d ago

Probably a sign that this is a 3d model.

-2

u/Zimmster2020 6d ago

Being a 100% Chinese company, they probably have some kind of screen recording feature built-in, in order to up the competition, and also spy on our devices at the same time. A wired RECALL feature.... 😂😂😂 JK

u/Aburrki 6d ago

Ew British plug

7

u/CircoModo1602 6d ago

Safety at 240V is ew?

1

u/MemeMakingViolist *insert among us joke here* 2d ago

Perhaps they meant electron volts?
