It was irresponsible to publish as there’s nothing in it but the same failed partisan allegation, and no legal foundation for a case.

A lot of news is just entertainment. They'll get their traffic, followers get their happy vibes. Sadly it also means pocket internet is doing a number on education. The decades-of-experience teacher I live with has a special ed all subjects K-12 credential and uses it as such - now considering retirement as the daily how my day went has been getting steadily more frightening each year.

The misbehavior isn't just misbehavior anymore, it routinely gets dangerous and teachers lack the tools/authority/support to work on it. Instead of teacher+parents+system vs student it's now student+parents+system vs teacher. They tie your hands and then they start up the play-by-play coverage.

Nobody around me in my generation could keep a teaching career going - the attrition rate became difficult to manage and cash offers to retire (for veteran teachers like the ones in my network) became cash offers to stay. Constant district/board talk about students turned into constant district/board talk about staff.

Special education becomes difficult in particular because you require signatures to get work done, parents won't sign until they are satisfied, and nothing short of the state legislature could fully satisfy their demands.

[comments to the article] ]So I haven’t heard whether or not these two lawyers who wrote the article will be disbarred or lose their jobs for defending an unconstitutional action? Or does that only happen to lawyers who work with Trump?

I agree, these two lawyers should be disbarred.
