Tools for colourisation Help Needed

Dear All

Could anyone direct me to any tools or software available to colour old B&W photos?

How long does a photo in decent to good condition take to colour?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Photoshop is what I work with.

Depending on the image, it can range from one hour to a week, but this includes restoration (lighting, scratches, water damage..) Portraits tend to be the easiest. Street scenes take the longest.

Thanks. Is that software free? Or is there another one that is. Yes, would be using for deceased family members

Photoshop is not a free software but you could use Photopea, it is a free online website with basically almost the same functionalities as Photoshop. Another free alternative is Gimp
