Met Patty Gasso this week

Oddly enough, I was in American Samoa at a little beach place called Tisa’s on New Year’s Day when I bumped into Patty Gasso. She willingly took a photo with me and I congratulated her on all her success. She couldn’t have been more gracious to a Florida Gator. She mentioned that they were coming to Gainesville this season and said the Gators were going to have a very good team. What a nice, unexpected experience.

Patty sets the standard that every other OU sport's coach must attain. Within the sport and meeting random Gator fans while on vacation ;)

It may have been part vacation, but it was clear that this was also a business trip.

I was referring to you I assume patty doesn't wear ou gear on vacation but if she does cool she can do whatever she wants haha

I had a similar good experience with Mike C. It's really neat that the great head coaches in this sport are such genuine people. I've heard horror stories about good coaches from other sports.

She’s sooo nice! My daughter’s softball team got to go out on the field at a home game and she made time to speak to every one of those girls and ask them about themselves and what position they play.
