[Berson] Florida is the first team to allow one Top-10 opponent to score 100 points and hold another to 45 or fewer in the same season since 1996-97 Colorado…and it happened in the span of 4 days. Analysis / Statistics

How do stat people find these unique stats so quickly!

The trick is to add qualifiers until nothing else fits

I looked up the Colorado games because I was curious (anytime I see 1997 on something, I have to look). On Jan. 18, they beat #8 Iowa State 70-45, and on Feb. 15, they lost at #1 Kansas 114-74. Fun team, they had Chauncey Billups that year.

Colorado got a 9-seed and lost in the round of 32 to UNC (who lost in the Final Four). Kansas got a 1-seed and lost in the Sweet 16.

Kentucky's destiny this season being inspirational to the elite teams it beats.

Really just highlights how awful we were/are on offense. We probably got the same amount of open looks as Kentucky when they scored 100.

Cool, I guess. But do we really need to know these stats? Soon it will be 105 and 40 and then 103 and 46.
