Biggest complaints about CS is that it’s a sim without soul.

I do miss the soul of Sim City, but after playing skylines I can't go back! I always liked how houses and businesses changed as people moved in and out, instead of just how they level up and just stay the same forever

I fired up SimCity 3000 recently. I've been playing clean and flashy Skylines for so long that I forgot about the obvious contrast in low-value versus high-value buildings and development.

Trailer parks, smoke-belching factories, open pits of hazardous waste... Makes me wonder if the Finnish devs of this game have ever even visited the U.S.! :P

My laptop can barely run SimCity but it's the only citybuilder I have access to. Not being able to build bridges on land is bugging me, but I love the difference land value has on the buildings.

That’s exactly how it feels!

I played Sim City 4 the other day for the first time since CS came out, its litterly harder, especially the vanilla version of SC 4. One thing I miss is the unlimited money mod that CS comes with, SimCity 4 you have to download an external mod tonget unlimited money. SimCity was good (before the crappy one) but after playing Cities Skylines for so long, i lost interest in SimCity
