My fb feed has been filled with pages of shitty local tv news stations across the country. We ditched local/terrestrial broadcast television 14 years ago and do not miss it at all.

It’s ridiculous the way these stations attempt to make blow-dried anchors/reporters/weather forecasters into celebrities.

If it doesn’t come from NPR, PBS or the BBC, it’s not important.

I live in Oklahoma, USA. Let me tell you, the news here sucks. The City of Norman had a horrific tornado a decade or 2 ago & now any time there are major storms I have to watch the radar because all the news channels only focus on Norman

Probably. It's all political crap & people getting charged for heinous crimes. I want the weather & that's it. I live around an hour away from Norman & if there are storms going on then they won't come near my house for atleast an hour. I suspect with the storm in Sulpher, Oklahoma that it'll only add to that
