I get your anger and frustration. My point of view is that Democrats need to get their messaging out online with internet supremacy. Republicans have dominated it for too long. They need to get in the face of people the way AOC does. She reaches out every day to her supporters on instagram and other sites. Answers people's questions and reads their ideas. She makes them feel like they're part of the job, like a board member to a corporation. I think every Democrat politician needs to do the same thing, no matter if they like it or not. If f you're not using a medium, someone else will.

Democrats cannot message their way out of this. They do not have a policies that could even begin to address the systemic problems facing most americans today. Defeating Trump should be a gimme. It should be EASY. Dems have lost to him twice and barely scraped out a meager victory on the back of a massive pandemic that killed a million americans and afflicted tens of millions more. No amount of "Progressive Joe Rogans" are going to fix this...especially since in 2016 the "Bernie bros" and the "brogressives" were mocked and summarily dismissed by the DNC. The dems are not the party of progressivism. They are controlled opposition by the 1% - just google what the CEO of Blackrock said about the outcome of this past election. They dont care because they own whoever wins.

😂😂Joe Rogan isn't a progressive. But that’s beside the point. Messaging is the key to selling an agenda. Back in the olden days, they use to hire kids to stand on street corners to sell newspapers. They yell "read all about it!" And a stack of newspapers would be gone quickly. That's how the news use to get out. Today, using that analogy, the Democrats are trying to sell those newspapers inside a cushy office on the 50th floor. No one can hear them shouting "read all about it!" But you know who occupies that street corner now? MAGA. If you think that didn't impact the election this year, you're not understanding my point. Too many old school politicians are running the show in the DNC. They think using the internet is beneath them. That's why some don't like AOC, because they think she's being an attention whore by trying to connect with her base through the internet. She understands the population better than Nancy Pelosi because Nancy is stuck in the past. There is this seniority culture in the Democrat party that's keeping younger politicians out of the spotlight because the older ones feel entitled to being party leaders. The solution to that is of course term limits.

“Progressive Joe Rogan” doesn’t mean that Joe Rogan is progressive. It’s referring to having progressive versions of him.

That would be odd to see.
