I mean I agree and voted blue BUT any white guy that was mildly competent would have beat Trump in a land slide. The Democrats failed to read the room and damn near just waved the white flag by not doing the obvious thing.

I agree and that's kinda my whole point.

The bar was set so low that demons in hell were tripping on it and we still lost.

Yes exactly. The democrats suck that damn bad.

Kamala was a horrible choice. And picking her made it even worse. There should have been a democratic process to replace Biden

I doubt it. Harris didn't lose because she's a woman/minority, but because they ran a bad campaign.

Well let’s just say it didn’t help on a close race that had no business being that close. They should have pivoted away from Biden a bit if that was the choice then make the move. Harris was a half step and appeared desperate to begin with.

She got like 9% total in the primary in 2020 & dropped out, she should have really never been a VP pick to begin with.

Fuck they put up the weakest candidate this century and did it in July of this year. Gender and skin color didn't really matter.

I don't know. This was one of those "change elections," so I don't think any Dem would have faired much better. Trump supporters always quote me economic numbers that occurred during the pandemic, such as gas prices, and whatnot but I could never convince them that supply and demand was the reason. Dealing with folks with this logic was always going to make this a tough cycle for Dems.

Which white guy volunteered to take over? Bernie, Newsom? I didn't hear anyone who said I want to compete with Kamala. It wasn't that long ago but I know some people have the memory of a goldfish.

Newsom would have been the easy choice but not having a clear back up plan for Biden or even just thinking they could go with Biden Al for another round was the first mistake BUT then when they pivoted off of him they going with his VP was the second one. By that time the fact that she was woman and not white just added icing the cake to be honest. It was an uphill battle to begin with.
