pure unfiltered cope

Yeah sounds about right - the Democrats are such utter losers who are incapable of anything that they let the election get stolen from under their noses. That's about what you'd expect from the least effective opposition political party in the western world.

Edit: To anyone down voting, I'm probably further left than you are but I also recognize that Trump coming into power again and the damage he will do to American democracy is largely the fault of the Democrats for failing to learn anything since 2016 as they consistently abandoned the working class and chased corporate interests.

2

u/Sir_Fox_Alot 1d ago

Americans so morally bankrupt they cheer on an orange rapist and his party who cheated.

Thats just being good at business right!?!? 🤡

1

u/Mynewuseraccountname 1d ago

Why do you think the GOP cheated? Coming as someone who voted harris, the dems had an awful four years, tried to cover up bidens mental decline, forced an objectively unpopular canidate down peoples throats, abandoned the working class and the left to parade "moderate republicans" like the freaking cheneys as allies to their cause, ignored peoples desperate pleas to stop arming isreal, i could go on. they lost bad and deserved to lose because they truly gave the finger to most regular americans, and continue to blame everyone but themselves for their falures.

Mabye, the democrats will learn from their mistakes this cycle, but i think they would rather let the nation fall to facisim then represent americans over the status quo and their corporate donors.

1

u/GalacticMe99 20h ago

I noticed that Biden and Harris made the mistake of seeing how effective Trump was at swinging the masses to his side and starting to copy his behavior. What is effective on the MAGA crowd and most of the conservative crowd in general might also work on a small niche of liberals that I have come to calling 'Blue MAGA', but it only pushes the majority of liberals away.

This 'Blue Maga' will respond to this with the question 'Why should Democrats be held to higher standards than the Republicans' and while I can understand their frustration the answer is very simple: Because certainly not all, but a large enough group of Liberals to swing the election have standards, and Conservatives do not.

0

u/lakecharles1992 1d ago

Are you now an election denier? That’s a threat to democracy!

1

u/AnalystSufficient230 1d ago

81M federal workers had a 4 year vacation.

0

u/IWasKingDoge 1d ago

You are embarrassing.

-12

u/oh_io_94 1d ago

Oh so now elections are rigged?? 🤡

13

u/Steelers711 1d ago

Oh so now elections are fair? It's funny how your opinion of elections depends solely on who won

1

u/PinkGlaive 1d ago

If you think elections aren’t fair, do you think cheating was involved in the 2020 election?

1

u/Steelers711 1d ago

I think all the elections have been fair, the controversy around 2016 and 2024 was just the disinformation campaigns and Russian propaganda that influenced people. The physical counting of the ballots is fine.

0

u/EIIander 1d ago

Was there not disinformation in 2020? Or maybe the Russians took the year off?

1

u/Steelers711 17h ago

No it was still there, it just wasn't enough to win that year

1

u/EIIander 17h ago

Gotcha, guess they increased it a lot this year while they are losing in Ukraine…. Maybe because they are losing in Ukraine, hoping for a break.

0

u/whiskey5hotel 21h ago

the disinformation campaigns

Yes, the DNC, White House handlers, and large parts of the media definitely ran a dis-information campaign hiding Biden's mental decline.

1

u/Upvotes-only-pls 1d ago

Likewise 🤡

1

u/NoACL13 1d ago

I mean is this any different than in 2016 when the Russians cheated for Trump and we had four years of “Trump is an illegitimate president”?

-2

u/aHOMELESSkrill 1d ago

2016 - election was rigged

2020 - most fair and honest election ever

2024 - election was rigged

How about we just audit every election and treat them like they are important since, oh I don’t know, we are electing the President of the premier super power of the world

2

u/Steelers711 1d ago

None of the elections were rigged, there was massive disinformation and propaganda campaigns that slanted the results, but the physical counting of the ballots has never been an issue

0

u/TTvCptKrunch152 1d ago

The fact you got downvoted at all with this should tell Renee everything they need to know about Reddit

-3

u/oh_io_94 1d ago

I’ve never once said an election was ever rigged.

2

u/Mattscrusader 1d ago

January 6th

-2

u/oh_io_94 1d ago

Well one I was there. Two I don’t agree with the actions of Jan 6th either.

0

u/No-Worry-911 20h ago

Trump didn't make those people do shit. I have no clue why you people always bring that up

4

u/UpsetAd5817 1d ago

No.

You are the clowns who believe that.

Notice how we won't be storming the Capitol...

1

u/ABC_Family 1d ago

Yeah…. We’ll see. Some on the left have gone batshit crazy and Trump isn’t in office yet.

1

u/UpsetAd5817 1d ago

"Some on the left."

Is that like 4 people? 10? 100? Or is 70% of them all, like the amount of Republicans who still believe the 2020 election was stolen? Or that bought Trump's lie that Obama wasn't born in the US?

1

u/ABC_Family 1d ago

5% of Harris voters is over 3.5M people guy… how many conservatives stormed the capital - 5,000 at most… probly half of that.

1

u/UpsetAd5817 1d ago

So, for one side, you want to count everyone who has a viewpoint.

For the other, you want to just count the ones who showed up for a particular event.

It's almost like you're trying to be intellectually dishonest.

Not sure where you got 5% from either. Pulled it from where the sun don't shine, I imagine.

1

u/ABC_Family 1d ago

70% that answered an anonymous poll doesn’t do anything for me. In case you didn’t realize after the election results… the polls are trash anyway. If polls were accurate we wouldn’t have an orange idiot incoming.

I used 5% to show you that a small group of extremists, can be a large number. The vocal extremists of the left on Reddit are bloodthirsty… I’m not saying that’s millions of people, but it’s substantial enough to warrant concern.

1

u/UpsetAd5817 1d ago

We have multiple different data points confirming the number is around 70%. The polls showed the election was close, it was. The results were within the few percentage point margin of error. They were accurate.

It doesn't really matter if the real number is 69% as one poll puts it, 70% as the CNN poll has it, or any of the other similar numbers.

Survey your own Facebook contacts on each side and then tell me that the number is remotely similar.

You're intentionally trying to muddy the waters about these things being remotely similar -- when they are definitely not. The only question is -- why are you doing that.

1

u/ABC_Family 1d ago

I don’t have Facebook. I’m not muddying the water, if anything using points from the 2020 election is just deflecting… we’re in 2024 now… not sure what the benefit of obsessing over 2020 is.. unless whataboutism is your main strategy.

Many of those 81M government workers were there that day and voted for Biden. Actually, the last thing they have accomplished for 4 years.

Bootie Judge was on maternity leave for almost 120 days of his term... Had a C section.

1

u/UpsetAd5817 1d ago

I don't follow Q so I have no idea what your crazy words even mean.

Seek psychiatric help.

1

u/AnalystSufficient230 36m ago

Seek 10M more ballots in the next election.

1

u/UpsetAd5817 27m ago

What's your major malfunction?

0

u/oh_io_94 1d ago

lol I don’t believe 2020 was rigged. I also don’t agree with Jan 6th. But to say the left doesn’t turn to violence when it disagrees with something is a a joke

4

u/[deleted] 1d ago

The difference is the left turns to protesting over righteous causes

1

u/wrongus-Macdongus91 1d ago

…By rioting, burning, and looting.

Righteous causes! Lmfao!! 🤣 🤣🤡🤡🤡

0

u/oh_io_94 1d ago

“Righteous causes” lmfao

4

u/[deleted] 1d ago

Ah yes of course someone like you would consider equal rights for all to not be righteous.

0

u/Squandere 1d ago

I see your definition of protesting is burning down cities?

1

u/MostCat2899 1d ago

Which cities burned down?

1

u/Squandere 1d ago

$1-2 billion dollars in damages as a result of the George Floyd riots. $550 million in Minneapolis–Saint Paul area alone.

1

u/MostCat2899 1d ago

So Minneapolis was burned down huh? Is it just gone now then? Seemed fine when I went there earlier this year.

Also should go without saying that perhaps not everybody participating in the chaos were doing so because of George Floyd.

And logically of course the George Floyd killing happened in Minneapolis, so of course a majority of the protests would have happened there anyways, so do you have other examples of cities that were "burned down"?

1

u/Squandere 1d ago

The other $450 million. Are you being intentionally dense?

70+% of Republicans still believe 2020 was 'stolen'.

What percentage of Democrats think 2024 was stolen?

2

u/oh_io_94 1d ago

What ever the % of either side they’re both wrong. That wasn’t my point though

4

u/UpsetAd5817 1d ago

They're both wrong.

But you guys love to say "both sides" when it is 75% crazy vs 4% crazy.

They are not the same.

1

u/Squandere 1d ago

I'd love to see your survey

1

u/UpsetAd5817 1d ago edited 1d ago

You'd love to see it.

Interesting. Why? To learn something? Or to try to find some way to avoid accepting reality? You will move heaven and earth to avoid accepting reality. Just like you did with the election results. Do you see how you are proving my point?

https://www.cnn.com/2023/08/03/politics/cnn-poll-republicans-think-2020-election-illegitimate/index.html

1

u/Squandere 1d ago

And the 4%? No reason to be a snarky prototypical redditor btw, some of us just like to know we're receiving accurate info.

1

u/cowboy_rigby 1d ago

Always with the "both sides" as soon as someone calls out the right for being assholes.

1

u/oh_io_94 1d ago

At least I can admit when the right is being as ass. Can’t same the same for others

1

u/AnalystSufficient230 1d ago

Anthony Weiner wants you to order the pepperoni on a kid's pizza. Yet Teabaggers were abused in 2010-2016...

1

u/TTvCptKrunch152 1d ago

Well, when tens of millions of votes show up to ONE election, things should be questioned

1

u/UpsetAd5817 1d ago

Things ARE questioned. And found accurate.

We know not just how many voted. We know WHO they were. The list of voters is public information. The campaigns even use it during the election to try to get out the vote of people they think will be their voters.

If, as you imply, tens of millions of voters were fake, which voters were they? Surely, out of tens of millions, you can list who some of these fake voters were.

Just more nonsense. They know it is nonsense, but feed it to gullible people. That's just the way to get poor people to vote for billionaire's interests, like you did.

1

u/TTvCptKrunch152 1d ago

Who said fake? I said there was only one election which hat tens millions more people vote on only one side. But they weren’t around in 2016 or 2024?

1

u/UpsetAd5817 1d ago

You're trying to make an argument without being held accountable for said argument.

Spit it out. Stop hiding.

By the way, you are wrong. It is not "tens of millions". It's about 9 million fewer people voted. And there are obvious answers as to why that is, if you really cared. But, you don't. You're just parroting the talking points that were fed to you by your media masters. That's why you all say the same thing, without looking at the underlying reality.

0

u/canero_explosion 1d ago

like BLM riots, way more violent

1

u/MightyGoodra96 1d ago

67 voting locations in battleground states received bomb threats.

56 of them were in democratic counties that had previously elected Biden.

Wont even touch on the fact that they came from russian email domains. But when you hear actual election interference vs "it was rigged! M-m-mail in ballots!" And Trump attempting to rescind the Voters Rights Act during his term...

I do not see that kind of attempt to sway the election from democrats. I see that almost exclusively from the right. Im willing to hear out credible examples, though

1

u/oh_io_94 1d ago

PA attempting to count votes they were ordered not to count is one but I don’t think either 2020 or 2024 was rigged. The bomb threats didn’t seem to keep anyone away either as it’s the 2nd highest amount of votes in history. That doesn’t make them ok though and I hope they determine who did it and they face consequences if it’s not Russia

1

u/A2Rhombus 1d ago

It isn't rigged and has never been rigged. But you don't have to rig an election to win, just spend hundreds of millions on propaganda and disinformation.

1

u/oh_io_94 1d ago

You’re not wrong

1

u/Domini384 1d ago

We let them have 2020 even though the 2020 election had a ton of shady behavior that has still never been answered for.

1

u/KeyWielderRio 1d ago

I mean I think they've been rigged back and forth for years now personally. Two things can be bad with one being worse.

-2

u/oh_io_94 1d ago

How tf you rig an election both ways? Lmao

1

u/KeyWielderRio 1d ago

I think both sides have started to cheat over the last several decades. That's.. not impossible you know? There's a lot of ways to cheat in an election. Still, ethics are at stake either way. I dont support either side cheating in an election, to clarify.

-1

u/jixxer111 1d ago

“tHe gOp cHeAtEd” 😂

Post your election night reaction video so I can laugh at it.

2

u/E-Pluribus-Tobin 1d ago

1/6/2020 is the best reaction to losing an election 😂

1

u/jixxer111 1d ago

That’s cute, you probably think those morons mounted an “iNsUrReCtiOn” when in reality, it was just a bunch of gullible buffoons who bought into Nancy Pelosi’s grand scheme.

1

u/E-Pluribus-Tobin 1d ago

Trump told them to do it, not Nancy Pelosi. Trump still maintains he won in 2020. His moronic followers still believe him too, because that's easier than admitting he is a liar and that he lost 😂

1

u/jixxer111 1d ago

What happened to the 6 million votes?

And there’s hard video evidence of Pelosi admitting that she orchestrated January 6th. Not saying those idiots didn’t play right into her hands, but she planned and executed the whole charade.

-1

u/LHam1969 1d ago

Stolen election? Election fraud?

-1

u/Starbreaker99 1d ago

They didn’t cheat. Dumbass liberals didn’t go vote.

2

u/Ill_be_here_a_week 1d ago

Actually false. This election had the largest Democratic Party turned Republican Party vote in history. Previously Blue states and counties turned purple and nearly all swing states became Red. Biggest SWITCH in history, as in Of All Time.

There's two likely possibilities:

  1. Everyone just DIDN'T want Kamala, anything was better than her (in their eyes)

  2. Republican Party practiced voter fraud and the election was miscounted

There's not a lot of

1

u/MrsMiterSaw 1d ago edited 1d ago
  1. Everyone just DIDN'T want Kamala, anything was better than her (in their eyes)

Not everyone. But a huge chunk of all american voters will not vote for a woman, let alone a minority woman.

I don't know why anyone disagrees with this. You can make good arguments for the leftists and pro-gaza people not voting for her for cut-off-my-nose reasons. But all the assholes who voted for Biden but then said "I think the economy matters and Trump is better?"

Lies. They wouldn't vote for a woman.

Some people tried to convince me that her being elected VP means that isn't the case. Lol. There are 25 female senators. Only 1/3 of the house. If a president nominated a woman to be the 5th woman on the Supreme Court, there would be a fucking uproar.

The rust belt states TWICE refused to vote for a woman over trump.

Some guy who phone banked for Harris said over and over people mentioned how America just isn't ready for a woman. But no one in the media conversation is claiming that's the issue?

No one is gonna convince me that good 'ol American misogyny wasn't the real motivating factor behind most of the switched votes.

And ignoring that means we're just fucking ourselves for the future.

Edit: I have been informed that because there are women who voted for Trump, that misogyny did not cause kamala to lose. And with that, I'll ask anyone under the age of 12 to please not bother replying anymore, I don't have time to deal with that level of ignorance.

0

u/stayoungodance 1d ago

Hillary Clinton won the popular vote in 2016. People just didn’t like Kamala.

1

u/MrsMiterSaw 1d ago

Ah, proof misogyny doesn't exist. Thanks.

Its seriously insane that people like you don't get it. A male version of HRC would have all those votes PLUS the assholes who wouldn't vote for a woman (just like HRC).

Its possible that more people liked HRC. Both women would have won the EC without misogyny effects.

0

u/stayoungodance 1d ago

Truly insane that people like you chalk Kamala’s loss up to misogyny. She was a weak candidate. Evidently there were many women who voted for Trump.

1

u/MrsMiterSaw 1d ago

Evidently there were many women who voted for Trump.

I can't imagine being so stupid as to think that there aren't women out there who are biased against women politicians.

There are literally videos of women flatly stating they they don't think a woman could handle being president. That's still misogyny.

So fucking stupid.

1

u/Mynewuseraccountname 1d ago

The liberals did vote. Its the rest of their voting base that weren't convinced. The liberal part of their voting base is getting smaller and smaller, thats why they tried to court the "moderate republicans" like the cheneys in a pathetic attempt to hold power without representing anybody with even slightly left wing views.
