I feel like a lot of these cartoonists aren't actually good at anatomy and that's why they have such lazy yet outlandish character designs. But it's hard to say tbh.

or they just aren’t good artists

u/lolsup1 Dec 24 '19
If they’ve been doing it this long, they’ve become good artists, they just keep up the style that’s popular.

Why do all boomers seem to draw people the exact same way?

I don’t understand.
Why do these boomers, who are presumably married - or y’know, encourage it - talking crap about wives?
Why do they get married in the first place then?
3
u/Modern_Intellectual Dec 24 '19
Because after 30 or so years of being married the love starts to die out.

What an awfully executed and lazily planned out comic. This joke has nothing to offer. The punchline is so tired it’s not even close to funny. It has been done to death in this genre. You could probably find 20 comics with the exact same style and punch line.
The artist should be ashamed. This isn’t a piece of work to put your name on at all.

The artist just completely gave up on the stained-glass window not even half way through

Are all of these comics just some guy drawing his sleep paralysis demons or something? Why are they always so ugly looking?

There's a good chance this is unique! I checked 87,666,416 image posts and didn't find a close match

Where does it say the wife is the one to nag?
5
u/PasteSlurper Dec 24 '19
It’s pretty common in boomer comics to have a wife that constantly nags her husband
0
u/DarkThgil Dec 24 '19
Thanks for pointing out the obvious. It just reflects on OP that they assume it is saying the wife is the nag.
2
u/PasteSlurper Dec 24 '19
Ok, well let’s use context clues too then. The wife is larger and more intimidating than her husband, plus she’s staring him down. The artist is male and plenty of male boomers constantly talk about having a nagging wife.
