WA Gun Rally - Perth, February 8, 2025 Shooting Organisations
As part of the opposition to WA Labor's draconian gun laws, we are proud to be helping organise (with others) the WA Gun Rally, taking place in Perth on Saturday, February 8, 2025.
More details will be announced very soon (just waiting on a few things to be definitely confirmed), but in the mean time: Put the date in your calendars, and make sure you visit tinyurl.com/WAGunRally) to sign up and stay informed!
There is a flyer on our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/ShootersUnionAustralia) - it won't let us post it here.

At best, the Western Australian government may dismiss the rally as they have in the past. At worst, they could use it to justify further restrictions on legal gun ownership.

I don’t want people knowing I’ve got guns so turning up to a rally is a frightening idea for me.

Don’t worry, you won’t have guns for long.

Ouch. But in all seriousness I’m never giving up my guns.

I can see what I wrote could be easily misinterpreted.
I wasn’t suggesting that I’d go down fighting in a violent blaze of glory.
I’ll use whatever means I can to keep my guns within the parameters of the law and if that fails I will move the guns to another more sensible jurisdiction.

Do your best to tell the world that shooting is normal, safe, social, gregarious, inclusive etc.

Risky... but I support this and will attend! Curious, what was WAFCA's take on this? I assume they're involved?
