I'm not lying. I think abortion should be left alone and focus on things that the entire country needs not just your little pet projects. Single-minded zealots like you or why we can't hold office for more than one term.

If I had to pick one. I will go with honesty.

If you have to pick one it will be "whatever doesn't bother the middle too much so we can hold onto power we will never use".

Well, you admitted right at the start that honesty is not something you value.

After that what do you expect, you lost ALL credibility in this conversation.

Just like what would happen to the politicians who follow your advice. First, they would be ineffective, then they would be gone.
