Yeah, Trump must have learned that type of respect for the military during his time in the military.

President is the commander in chief of military. By saluting is showing the he is the link between society and military.

I will acknowledge the lacking salute but I will also acknowledge the chivalry toward his wife. Praise the good and shun the evil. Blessings.

It's NOT chivalry; it's only bc he's so feeble he can't walk or find his way down a skinny carpet, he needs her to help him find his way, then get inside without getting lost.

If Jill doesnāt drag Joe by the hand all the way to the front door of the White House, heāll end up in the bushes somewhere or Walmarts ice cream isle again.

This is the first thing i noticed. Jill's hand is in front, showing that she is leading him.

And Jill and how are BOTH HOMEWRECKING WHORE!! They CHEATED on his husband who was Notes best friend, then she divorced him. Also suspicious was the way his wife was 'accidentally' killed...

The military salute is a privilege earned by honorable service in the military. It is a symbol of respect and a sign of comradeship among service personnel. The President of the United States is a civilian. He is not a member of the US Military and is therefore *not entitled* to salute.

Ronald Reagan started it because he felt awkward about it and since he was the commander in chief he felt it would be appropriate.

Sir heās literally and by definition a civilian. You seem to be ignorant as to what a civilian is. Thatās not an opinion. Itās a fact. The office of POTUS can only be held by a civilian.

The military salute is considered a privilege earned by those who have served in the Armed Forces and is reserved for official protocols. Do you salute military personnel? If not why?
1
u/Bigfoot_USA discord.gg/saveamerica Jan 29 '23
No, you're right. The man in charge of the military should not ever salute a marine.

I'm sorry I will not be downloading anything. I did look it up and he's a civilian but that doesn't change the fact that the President is the Supreme military commander.
The point I'm making is that it is what Presidents always do. And he did not.
1
u/Fair_Maybe5266 š Useful Idiot š Jan 29 '23
According to the military code no one that is in civilian clothing is supposed to salute. That is where the link will take you. To the military code. To salute is a privilege among those in uniform by folks who are in the military. The president is a civilian and shouldnāt salute.

Iām not sure, but I think you are not supposed to render a hand salute unless you are in uniform and under cover. That means you donāt offer or return a salute if you arenāt wearing a uniform, which includes a hat.
1
u/jaffakree83 NOVICE Jan 28 '23
Marine lowers his salute: "Oh, am I being disrespected? Guess I'm being disrespected. Mom was right, I should've just gone navy."
