My mom is the most annoying person I ever met. She never shuts up. I'd call her more if it didn't feel like it was a one way conversation. My dad on the other hand is completely comfortable sitting in the room together in silence. A few comments back and forth and that's it. Its no wonder they got divorced.

This is basically similar for me. Call my mom, I can't get her to shut up. Call my dad, we're caught up in five seconds and chilling in silence.
