Only problem with uukha limbs (for them) is that they’re always so good they don’t really ever need upgrading.

Agree, seen lots of people still using the older generation limb.

But what's the scale of stability on that graph?

Banana?

They’ve stopped using bananas in 2019 when studies concluded that bananas have an inverse correlation with stability, rendering an on-stepper temporarily unbalanced and shortly thereafter horizontally inclined.

They have been using marketing since. The chart is wrong though, because Alphas have tested as 4 marketing stable, and the Sx50 is over 3 marketing as well. To better understand this, 1mrk (marketing) converts to the SI registered 2.879be (bovine excrement), but the UK uses the archaic load of bollocks, where 1mrk = 0.21lob.

Edit: corrected the limb name

Had some SX+ ordered but got told that Uukha was releasing the new generation so changed the order to Omega instead. Going to be interesting to try them out.

Less than 4% per inch is super smooth. I've set limbs up in that range before, and it feels amazing. Sadly, I also shoot like shit that way. I need some resistance to let me know where I am in the draw cycle.

While the greater stability is nice, the biggest problem Uukha has is that their entry level limbs are such a good value their mid-level stuff isn't generally worth the difference in price. Their high end kit is always outrageous.

+1100€ for limbs?

I like Uukhas and their products. But that is ridiculous.

That's only recommended, so it will vary depending on country and shop. I know somewhere preselling it for at least 100€ less. I will guess dealer will sell it slightly cheaper

It’s still outrageous.

True. Top end equipment are expensive and carbon one are even more expensive, full carbon limb just another level

Price on alternative:
Omega is £996.23.
Sigma £733.18.
Alpha £411.65

Carbon limbs went down in price significantly lately. Limbs made of 100% cross carbon are in the ~$200 range now, though these still have a non-carbon core.

The material cost is not enough to justify the difference in price. Going from 70% carbon to 100% does not justify a ~145% increase.

Given Uukha’s QC on the high end in the last generation, that cost increase isn’t coming from there either.

Their ~$400-500 limbs are always an excellent value. The rest just aren’t worth it

A bit weird that omega is the best and alpha the cheapest.
