Calcium and Food Sale! Selling
I haven't talked about it much on Reddit, but I sell invertebrate and terrarium supplies in addition to being an artist to pay my bills.
And as a "Thank You" for all of you on Reddit being awesome this year, until the end of the year, I'm running a sale. Mention the code REDDITTHANKS and get 10% off any order that contains a calcium source or invert food off my sales list.
List is here: https://gastropoid.blogspot.com/2024/09/current-sales-list.html?m=1
DM me here, on discord or email the address at the bottom of that list to order.

Awesome! 👏👏
(And another reason I'm sad not to live in the US!)

Yeah, unfortunately international shipping is pretty expensive and risky.

Do you sell snails too? As someone who is going to grow saffron I love that it’s in one of your product’s. The ingredients lists are great.

I don't currently have any snails for sale, unfortunately. But I appreciate the compliment on my carefully crafted recipes.

So excited to be able to link this into all the safe cuttlebone requests! Would the Butchers Best be good for the assassin tank?

Yep! That's actually what I developed it for. Carnivorous terrestrial snails too.

Hey there! Could you PLEASE help me figure out which food I need for my mysteries? I’ve been giving those vacation weekly feeder blocks (they hate them), blanched zucchini and carrots and algae wafers. Their shells are still looking a little rough.. and they didn’t look the best when I received them as it was.
I’ve also got a chestnut female that looks like her antennae were bitten off or damaged because they are EXTREMELY short, about 1/3 of the size of the snails that are literally half her size… so I’m looking for a diet that would help speed the healing process.
Thank you very much for your time and help!

I'd recommend a mix of Farmer's Market and Butcher's Best made into snail jello with the included calcium and agar packs.

You order by messaging me or emailing me (Gastropoid at Gmail dot com) and telling me what ya want. 🖤
For mystery snails, I would recommend a mix of Farmer's Market and Butcher's Best, made into snail jello with some calcium added.

I include a package of agar when you order for snail food, as I mentioned on the page for the food, as well as a package of calcium. You mix a little up with boiling water and the food. It might take a little experimenting to get the ratio for the thickness you want. Extra stores in the fridge or freezer, and I definitely don't recommend making all of it at once.

See this is why I like you, you always have good information i appreciate you and will be looking forward to experimenting on how to make proper snail jello with my girlfriend!

There's too much bad information out there. If we want the hobby to be better, we need to go to the effort to make it better. So that's what I'm doing in every way I can.
