Water changes with floating plants? Help/Advice

How do i do water changes with floating plants? I haven't got floating plants but I plan to get them soon. Also I use a bucket

Easy, put a hose below the plants and then suck the water from there.

I use a bucket, I have tried a aquarium hose but they fit my sink

Put the bucket on the ground and siphon into it. Otherwise you could use a net to get any that go into the bucket out of it after scooping the water and put them back into the tank. It seems like unnecessary hassle, a siphon is much simpler, up to you though.

Syphon the water out below the plants, you can syphon without the sink, put the other end of the hose in a 5 gallon bucket, once filled, empty it in the toilet, if you don't know how to do it just YT it
