[FS] Long Island, NY - $81.96 - multiple items, betta, 5.5 gallon aqueon tank, tetra submersible heater, imagitarium sponge filter, strip thermometer For Sale - Local Pickup Only
Was given as a white elephant gift. I’m just asking to recoup the money I paid for the equipment, I have the receipts to prove what I paid.
**Note that the air pump, lamp, and fake leaf were taken from other setups and are not included in this setup and will have to be replaced with new ones
(if you would like me to order them for the setup and add it to the price I’m more than willing to, otherwise it is at your own discretion to get replacements)
The substrate is leftover fluval biostratum that I did not use, all the plants are snail free and the only plants I am keeping are the ones on the rock and the soft hornwort. The pearl weed, guppy grass, and rotala are all yours!

My cousin bought it for a white elephant. I would never bring a living creature to a gift exchange.

Potentially interested! Would it be possible in local pickup to maintain the bacteria for this system, then bagging the betta?

Of course! I wouldn’t completely drain the system, and I could put the other water in a Home Depot bucket if you wanted.

Awesome! I’d potentially love to take this lil guy off your hands, just need a bit to get an additional stand for him. Would you mind giving general dimensions? Will absolutely pay the price mentioned too.

Awesome! Just want to double check that you know you’ll also need to get a small air pump and a light because I need the ones I’m currently using, the store didn’t have any.
It’s also a standard aqueos 5.5 gallon found here vvv Aqueon 5.5 gallon aquarium
The dimensions on the website are 16.5” x 8.75” x 10.75” LxWxH

Yes of course, I’m aware of that! I have a pump I believe, but need to get stoppers and more tubing. And thank you for the dimensions! I’ll get stuff sorted and DM you. Happy to possibly give him a home!
