fucking how? my S6 battery health is at 73% and "significantly reduced, check service options".

my S2 was the same way before I upgraded...every 4 years seems to be where I've settled because it becomes virtually unusable depending on how active. i.e. its 2P EST, its been off the charger since 9A. I am at 57% and only 128/850 CAL Move Goal (WFH desk job). I will go on a run after work and it will be dead as a doornail by 6-7P.

If you go to an Apple Store, they can run a health check. I thought my battery life was terrible due to a 79% max capacity but apparently the battery was broken-broken, unable to hold a charge. I paid $99 + tax for an entirely new Series 4.

Anyone in the same boat, check if you’re eligible to pay for a battery replacement.

The batteries aren’t replaceable so you end up getting a replacement refurbished watch.

Do they have them in stock at stores or will they have to ship one out to you? My s5 is down to 65% and battery health at “service recommended ” I’d hate to lose my streak!

No, not in stock in stores. Yes you lose your streak.

I actually contemplated buying a new one from Costco to bridge the gap, and then returning it after.

That’s what I thought. Which stinks since they carry refurb iPhones for replacements in stores.

I'm in another dimension then, I've had the Series 6 since March 2021, and I have 87% Battery Health. I run, workout 4 times a week at the gym with it etc.

9:45 I started work and I came home at 5:00 today and its at 76%

Wtf, I legitimately cannot remember the last day I made it to bed with battery left. I work out around 3-4 times a week, nothing crazy. Even on off days it’s dead by 8

OFF Days it dies by then as well?! Might be just a crummy battery you have my friend. We have one more year of updates after this one for Series 6, if you can get the battery replaced without spending too much I'd go that route.

Or go used, I see Series 9s up here for around 450CAD (cellular version) might be a good option to check your local sellers

Wait is yours cellular? Mine is not. I apologize I didn't mention that. I could see that being a big reason ours is so far apart in terms of battery use

Turing off some things helps like Siri always on or listing for background noise volume. Also turning off background refresh for rarely used apps.
