Shrenkeisen’s Rocker Questions

Good morning!

I found this short little rocker on FB marketplace for $20 and loved how unique it was, so I grabbed it. Now that I am home with it, I discovered a brass tag on the underside that appears to be dated, and I am curious about the history of this piece. I thought- given the price- that it was probably a reproduction, but it appears to be the real deal, and it’s in excellent condition for a chair as old as I now suspect it to be.

Can anyone give me any insight into the age, history, value etc of a rocker like this?

Thanks in advance!

Eastlake was a popular style from the 1870s-1890s. Nice to see a dated example. Thanks for sharing.
